El Dorado I or El Dorado II? That is the Question.

Ok, so I've been the last two years. Rented a house nearby the first year and brought trailers and stayed at ED I last year. We definately had a blast staying onsite. Most nights we were drinking till 5 am!!!! But after reading all the posts, it seems that everyone is saying ED II is more fun.? I'm looking for a little direction here! Which is going to be more fun for all us single guys and girls??

Well, EDII is definately easier on the pocket book and that is why you see most of the posters on here going that route. But honestly, even last year, you couldn't tell the difference, even when they say there are curfews...hahah..what curfews. We had to walk all the way thru EDI to get to our spot in EDII and EDI was insane! We stayed in EDI the first year and EDII the 2nd year (to save money).

We are in EDI this year....and our camp probably will be up at all hours.

Basically, it is how close do you want to be?, How much do you want to spend. EDI is sold out, and sometimes EDII comes available. So that may be your decision maker?

I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and pay for ED I. I like being able to get back to the trailers quick to get an ice cold beer that doesn't cost me $5! (does anyone remember exactly how much beers were last year?) Heck, I'll probably be money ahead when it's all said and done!

I think beer was $6 and cocktails were $8.

Well, motorcowboy is selling his EDI ticket...you better jump on it!! Especially since they are sold out.

It is nice to be close, but believe me that is still a walk once you are in the venue and watching all the artists...to just leave to get a beer is really not worth it. You would miss out on so much.

I am in Norco all the time! I live right over the riverbed, East side of Hamner, by Al's.

I actually bought (1) ED I off Ticketmaster last night, apparently they released some additional spots or something!!!! I really don't care how, but I got mine and printed it out on tixfast and I'm good to go!! I may actually be looking for one more ED I, we are going to try to bring (2) trailers.

Right on!! That is awesome! Yeah, must be from people not able to finish paying for their Lay-a-way plans...so lucky you!

I know there are plenty of people looking...so this is good news that more are avail as of last night.

I'm looking to trade out my 2 EDI RV passes (50 amp) for 2 ED II passes (not straight up but I'll give you a hell of a deal). Let me know if anybody's interested....
