Share your funny sober/ drunken/ boring/ exciting/ random stories.. Im just going to copy my previous story that I got "scolded" about because it contained alcohol.

So, I went to a bday party this past weekend and lets just say me, JD, and Grease Lightning get along a little too well...yes yes it was the john travolta version " go greased your burning up the quarter mile, greased lightning, go greased lightning" and at the end of the song, I slid on my knees between the birthday girl's legs. She was standing up with her legs together, I slid with my knees open and thats when it happens.It was awesome. classic rather. So I ended up going downtown in my pajama pants, because thats all I had in the car.

The bars LOVE Valentines night!! All the single, lonely people out partying it up. I loved going out that night when I was single....perfect night to meet single guys! Other nights, many married men out hiding their rings, but on Valentines, most likely that are ALL single, cuz the married or tied down ones were with their significant others.

I don't mind V-Day....I have been single on Vday for the last 6 years...the first 2 years it was rough, but then I got over it! LOL!!

This Vday, my nephew gave me a card he made for me of a big castle with a big ol' smiley face on it! That was cut out in the shape of a heart! And he brought me a flower and 2 cookies!! And I could tell that there were originally 3 cookies cuz his face was stained red from the red sugar sprinkled on top!! Hehe!! Gotta love kids! LOL!!

So that is my kind of Vday!! :D

with a bunch of guys on V-Day :-(.
I did put a teddybear and a bunch of chocolate kisses in the mail for my girl before I left though, so I got props for that.

I was reading this thinking it was a poem..then I realized it was the actual event!...what a sweet gesture..very nice..

we are so not used to rain in southern calif. drivers can't handle it, the hills can't soak up the water, my streets are flooded, my umbrella keeps flipping inside and out, and people go up to the mountains without chains!! ok.. i feel better.

I work at a small university in LA. WHY AM I AT WORK TODAY? What kind of school is open on President's day? ugh. I just loved driving to work....on a holiday....in the pouring down rain.

OK - I'm done whining about it (for now anyway - haha). At least it's super quiet here. But I COULD be catching up on lots of TV I still have to watch! :)

My university is actually open today for classes, but closed next Friday.. go figure. I took today off to finish a few projects... but still haven't done it yet, lol. Waiting to hear if we have to take state furlough days.

Yep! But I've seen VERY few students compared to a normal Monday (not a huge number here anyway since we're closing next year...but even more quiet than normal!) I think most of them just assumed there wasn't class - and my guess is that instructors didn't bother to remind them so they wouldn't show up! ha

So to add madness to my weekend... Saturday morning, wake up and go fishing... I land a 21 pound carp. Throw him the cooler full of water to keep him alive drive home, and stick him in the pond at my buddies house. Hes bat stuff crazy and from England.... So he decides to buy a 4 foot high, 12 foot diameter pool from wal mart, so he can put all the fish in, and swim with them. lol. So now, theres about 20 carp, some catfish, sunfish, blue gill and goldfish in the pool lol

The Asians catch and eat them!! ewwwwwwwwwwww here is a good recipe for Crap.

Here is OLD recepie that I heard of but never tried!!

1. Take a pretty good size carp and fellet it but leaving the skin ON.
2. Find an old PINE board, bout a 1"X6" or 8"
3. Preheat oven to about 450' or so.
4. Salt and pepper to taste.
5. Place fish on board and place in oven for 90 minutes.
6. Remove from oven, throw fish in trash and eat the board.

We went to the lake where my buddy caught a 26 pounder, walked to our fishing spot, and there it was laying on the shore, someone had caught it and thrown it on the shore. Its BS

omg... IHML.. seems we've been known to try all these great shots lately, but the lemon drop shots of angies will kick your keester. They creep up on you then whammo.. I need to pace myself. (and make sure hodgee and marshall pace themselves, too!!) I'll touch base with her and see if she's going to make her "magic potion" this year.

one year when I was a kid we had an easter egg hunt. all the kids were excited, but it was a wet easter morning and when we ran out to look for eggs I found the golden one..I was thrilled till i realized a slug had attached itself to it. I was traumatized for life. never participated in another easter egg hunt since then...it was so gross... ick.

Another bit of randomness, since this is the everything thread. I ordered two single person tents and the first one arrived yesterday. This thing is bigger than I expected and super easy to set up! Cool!!! :)

Funny part is, I sent them an email to see where the second one was and they said they shipped them seperately because of the weight.

The kicker: the carry bag is a total of about two and a half pounds. With the tent in it.

My dad, bless him, was hovering over my shoulders while I set it up and took it down to check it. Everytime I picked something up, he'd grab it. "Watch your fingers, careful of your fingers." I could have strangled him!

I got my revenge though, when he went to roll it back up and couldn't get it in the bag and had to let me do it. :p
