I do a spreadsheet for my bills. And I realized there are 5 paydays for us in April, thus giving us an extra check for SC09!! WHooo HOooo
That helps the old pocket a bit! Hope it helps for some of you too who do get paid weekly:D

I so wished that help, but it just hurts me! I get paid once a month, so I have to stretch it a little farther!! lol I guess I will be hitting up the neighboring campsites for drinks!!

Oh man..I was hoping for some good news...sorry! Believe me I need every penny and this really helps.
I was worried how to get the boys fishing with gas money up to the sierras, with food, fishing crap etc...as well as me and my spending money. GOOD thing I have some passes sold so I am all taken care of for the weekend. Phewww
Two vacations in one weekend - in one home is ROUGH on the pocket book!!

I get paid every other Friday Kymery so that's good news for me! Plus I just paid off my car so there is some extra money right there!
Let me know if I can donate anything to the burrito cause!!

I'm sure Kymery and I will do another "meet and greet". I was great idea and a fun way to meet so many people. We will be camping very close to each other again, too. I will make sure not to over do it with Angie's lemon drop shots the night before, ugh, the memory is still too vivid!!! We'll be sure and post the details.
I'm soooooo tempted to get a camping wristband so I can come and party with you guys before and after the festival.....ummmmmm

Okay, newbie here - bear with me....
If I want to socialize with anyone that is camping ~ do I have to have a wristband to get into the camping area? How much are they? Details, please....
(Am I showing my ignorance now?)

If you're just trying to hang out - but are not actually planning on staying and sleeping in any of the campgrounds, here is my thought/suggestion...
Buy one from someone who has extra wristbands from the RV camping instead of buying a Forum tent camping pass. I suggest this because if they sell the number of passes for tent camping based on the number of spaces available, so if a bunch of people bought them that way - some people who really want to tent camp are outta luck!
Just a suggestion though - if you buy a tent camping pass and don't camp - there will just be more space for those of us that are! :D

Also, you won't have to pay TM fees if you buy them from an RV'er, not to mention I bet some people will be selling them for LESS than $50 since there might be a surplus and getting something for them is better than nothing. Just a guess.

This is kinda strange... Our families are very very much alike!~ We spend a few weekends up in Bishop/Mammoth doing the fishing camping deal!~ It was sooo expensive when we went in 2008 due to the cost of GAS!

OMG.I know, it took over $600 in fuel!! $150 per tank and pulling 37' 5th wheel, up hill!! 7-8 mpg!! ughhh!! But sure is worth it!! We will be going again probably in late may/june. We like to camp at Brown's camp, right about the Lake, at that church turn off, camping right on the stream!

Absolutely gorgeous pictures! I love the fresh air up there... I don't like the fishing part but I do enjoy the cleaning part... We have gone up in mid June for the motocross a few times and there is a good amount of snow still up in Mammoth. In fact, they ran the runs that year (2007) until July!~
We usually just go from camp spot to camp spot making a loop ... and no not those full hook up "rv resorts"...

I agree! I went with a "sig other" .. no longer in the picture.. however, we had a wonderful time up there! Packed a picnic and spent the day, stopping along the way at other sites .. Mono Lake, and all that other touristy stuff!

I loooooove it up there, the ghost town is so awesome. It's just so hott.. we usually go in the summer. We go up there and stay in Twin Lakes/Bridgeport and camp and fish and just have a good time!

Yeah, I stay in Bridgeport..cant remember the hotel...white/red trim, big lawn in the center. Bodie is definately worth going to, especially as a family!! BUT DO NOT TAKE ANY THING FROM THERE!!! You will be haunted for life!!

Ohhhh I know where your talking about... drawing a blank with the name though. We stay in the campground that's by twin lakes.. few miles in from Brigeport.
I think I'm safe from being haunted for life... I'd probably be chicken to take anything from that place...
