Wassup everyone, I am new to the forum and new to message boards in general. This will by my first time at Stagecoach and Ive been reading all these posts and getting excited like a little kid before christmas. I love to take my RV to Party spots like sporting events, Buffet Concerts and camping and have some great ideas of how Stagecoach will be. Ive seen a lot of good questions and everyone does a great job at answering them, so i thought i would throw out sum questions of my own.

When i arrive on thursday evening to register and set up camp, do i get to pick my spot? What i mean is can i pick a spot anywhere in the whole EDI area or will they file us in one by one right next to eachother givin the next available spot?

Is there a best place to be like by the entrance, showers, on the end of an isle (neibors on one side)?

Is there a bad place to set up like by the bathrooms (stinky), police area, by a road (dust, crowd)?

Is the 20x50 space chalked off or is this area up for some minipulation?

I got a bunch more questions but i am hoping they will talked about by everyone before the show, if not i will ask later.

Thanks for your time, this is really great place to get information!

First...welcome aboard!!

1. No you can't pick your spot, you will be directed to the next spot open, kinda like they park you at Disneyland, Otherwise it would be caos.

2. So since you don't get to pick your spot, if you end up by an out-house...sorry!

3.The spaces are chalked off, and you have to pull in accordingly, especially if you have pop outs and so does your neighbor, takes a bit of figuring, backing in and out, but it all works out.

PS...GO HB!! I am an Oiler!!

Last year I stayed in International. They had you follow the person in front of you and told you where to park. I didn't care for the spot, but we went with it. We arrived on Thursday night. The next morning people had moved to better spots. Had I not already have unpacked and set up camp, I would have moved too. This year I won't set up camp right away and see what happens.

Here is a view from SC08 from on top of my rig in EDII. Basically two rows backed up to eachother, then a driving isle. See that Jeep top?? that is actually the middle of two rows that are backed up to each other That white truck, he pulled straight in from the driving isle and is facing directly into the middle of the two rows.

As you can see there was some good space in the center of all of us...thanks to the short rv's..mine took up my whole space. But it is more like a can of sardines.

Hope this helps to understand more how they park us. First come, get closest parking is how they try to do it.

Yeah, we tried to move, even our neighbor paid off a guy, but his super made him give the money back..we were told to move back to our spots!! ughhh...but some of the guys actually let you hold a spot for about an hour and if your buddies dont show they fill it. Not sure if they will be that nice this year. So don't plan on it...if it works out great, but remember these poor guys are just doing what they are told, and it helps out in the long run.

Got it. Thanks that helps.

It sound like im gunna need to be a little tricky to get a spot that works best for us.

How are neighbors usually with playing music and partying all day and night? I guess it just matters who you end up next to right? Im worried about setting up 10 feet away from Mr. Smugpants who sleeps in and frowns on cool people having fun...

I usually end up making friends with whoever is around us by the time i set up the tiki bar and share some BBQ...

Are people planning a time to show up together so they can be next to each other?

KE - my work filter won't let me view some pictures unless I'm logged in. Other pictures I have to view on my home computer.

Yeah, thats my license plate for the RV... I tried SHTRS FL but my wife thought it was a little to inapropriate for our new family truckster! I can, and do, quote those movies all day long...

Some neighbors can be cranky, but I will tell you, I was worried with our "boy toys' playing music too loud, but hell, I guess I drank too much to even notice once my head hit the pillow. EDI is supposed to have cerfew...again, supposed to! EDII...party all night long!
ps..you will be more like 2-5 feet away from your neighbor! Our pop out jigsaw puzzled to our neighbors pop out! we had to pull our in so they could leave!

KE,
Welcome. We stayed in ED1 last year and they tried to tell us where to go, but we just went where we wanted. I specifically wanted an end spot. Being that I had done this before, I knew what I wanted. The first year we had a smaller trailer and 2 others with smaller trailers too. Appx. 28 footers. So we pulled one across the back and the other two at the far ends of the 3 spots and we had quite the party arena in the middle of our horseshoe. That is the absolute best scenario. If you can hook up with 2 other pp and do it that way. otherwise there is absolutely no room, except for some lawn chairs in front of your trailer. We came early and got an end spot to have room right on the walkway to the concert entrance. Awesome spot, but they oversold ED1 and then came along and parked HUGE motorhomes that came in late Friday, in the FIRE LANE right in front of us and completely blocked our view. We threw the hugest fit and they comped us some "side" stage passes, but since we were already in VIP those were worthless. So even getting the end spot is no guarantee they won't come along and park the "late" arrivals in front of you. At $850 and $750 a spot they will put people anywhere to make a buck I guess. I hear they overbooked ED1 by about 300 campers last year, so imagine the chaos on Friday when the last 2 or 3 hundred rigs rolled in. Sorry for the lengthly post everyone, just wanted to enlighten the newbie....

The spaces last year were much smaller than they said they would be. That was why it was so cramped. They had better give us the correct size spaces this year since we are paying dearly for them!

those passes also get you backstage and into the artist compound, which vip doesn't. you could have also had some golf cart rides to and from the stages.

Not sure what it got you at the side stages, never left the mane stage. Didn't get you crap at the mane stage. We ended up w/ Mane stage wristbands eventually so we were backstage pretty much the entire concert. Kind of a waste with the VIP seats we bought. Oh well, we got some great pics with the artists.

I agree...they have learned a lot from the past years, especially on making sure the sizes are correct this year, and having the correct count to sell and NOT oversell! That would make it good on all levels.

I might get out and punch my RV in the face if it starts acting up...

well, I had a great site last yr...kid asked if we wanted to put out our awning, yes, so he gave us extra room!...ED2, we were about 4th/6th rows, tons of room, ha ha...sure that won't happen again
