 As y'all can tell by my title, we are new to this whole country festival. We have attended other music festivals, but new to this one. I won 2 general admission tickets for the festival, now I cannot find a camping spot. I see that EDII is sold out, and EDI is way too expensive....and so is International for that matter. What do y'all know about 52/Madison? We have a 40+ fifth wheel toyhauler, and I have no idea how big is too big for that area. Or is it soldout too? We really don't want to stay at a hotel because of having to drive back and forth......any festival veterans have suggestions for us festival newbies

Welcome...first, can you change your type color...cant read it unless I copy it..

I completely agree at the costs...wish there were better options. Prices are crazy...thats why they aren't sold out yet.

There will be some EDII tickets probably for sale as time goes on. Just post you are looking for one.

as for 52/madison it is for JUST parking your RV, and staying the night...but you wont be able to get into the other campgrounds unless you purchase a seperate $50 ticket PER person. Thats why it is only $25 to stay there..I think a good option..just don't know how far that walk will be! EDII is a hell of a walk as it is. Bring bikes...lock them on the fence?

as of right now...it shows they are still available for 52/madison...may want to buy one for that great price, and then keep looking for an EDII pass

Sorry about the font thing...clicked the wrong one. How did you find out about the availability? I would love to keep tabs on the spot availability. And do you know how big the spots are in Madison? We are about 40+ in length. So I guess these tickets that I won are costing me a fortune?!? Thats just great!!

Madison:
NO onsite camping amenities. This is just parking.

Yeah, they will get you coming and going!! ahahahaha..but it will be fun!

I just went thru the motions of buying one on Ticketmaster and they show available still. It is just a big lot..your rig should fit...mine is 37' and was told no problem. They just pack you in.!

Heres the map that shows where it is relevant to the entrance..

I was also thinking..yes...this IS a tough walk, but you have a 5th wheel so you have a truck..you may want to disconnect and go park closer??? But the hell getting in and out of that lot before and after the show may not be worth the savings in your walking...

Rose...correct, no showers, club, water trucks, etc....but you do get to dry camp overnight.

Kymery,

Your right. I didn't see anything about people not being allowed to stay in their RV's.

Great price, just you can't visit the other grounds..so you don't get camping "bands" , just the rv spot. I think it may be a great place although! Especially for the price!

Well I guess we could take our bicycles and ride to the entrance and lock them up for the day? Or just walk....I am sure we won't be the only ones...have any of you stayed in the "parking lot" before? I mean the only benefit to the campsite would be ....what?? We have a shower in our Raptor..lots of water available to use...what else do we need?I mean we would miss out on the loud partying all night long (darn it)...and free WiFi...LOL...but this could be the best bet for our family.....

This is the first year they have offered this alternative.

True..You are self contained, I have a 37' Next Level toy hauler..dont need all those things either. WiFi cut in and out anyway...never was able to use it more than 2 minutes at a time in EDII.

EDII was the $250 a night right? Then I would also have to purchase campers passes right? And if I have to buy campers passes, do we have to buy campers passes for 14 and under?

Noooo...$250 for the weekend and you get 6 people passes with it..included in the price, you get those upon arrival

Phew..that would be expensive...14 and under free.
