Has anyone had their January payment taken out yet? mine was suppose to be done on 1/9 and has not been taken yet. i cannot get a response by anyone at the number that i have, just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

There were a number of cards declined that still need to be contacted..
It won't be until after the holiday as the office is closed on monday. This also means emails won't be responded to until then either.
But it will get sorted then. :)

I checked Friday night around 5 p.m. and it hadn't been taken out yet....but when I checked this morning, it has been taken out.

well. my card is good so that should not be a problem, and i have been calling and e-mailing for over a week now. If i could just get a response from them so i know what is going on i would feel a whole lot better.

my payment STILL has not been taken out and i cannot get a hold of anyone. I have tried calling and e-mialing to no avail. I am getting really frustrated. Anyone have any ideas on what is should do??
I'm sure Countrygurl and Goldenvoice will eventually get your answers. It sounds like this happened to quite a few folks. The only thing I could think of is to contact your credit card company and see if they rejected the charge or received a request for one. My card was stopped once when I was on vacation and they just wanted to talk with me and make sure I was the one using my card.

It would just like some kind of reply it know what is going on, if they are behind in processing the payments that is fine, i know this is the first time they have done this. I would just like to know is all. I am so afraid to loose these tickets, since in a little over two weeks the second payment will be due and they haven't even taken the first one.
I feel for you. SC 07 tickets were a disaster for me and at the last minute ticketmaster finally agreed to will call instead of cancelling my order.

I called in because I need to change the credit card used for my layaway payments (card number they have is no good due to closed account/bank change)...
I still haven't heard from them either - I'll try another round of e-mails/phone calls tomorrow :)

two weeks till the second payment is suppose to come out and my first payment has not been taken yet. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what i need to do. I have tried calling and e-mailing, both getting no response back. I got such great seats i really do not want to loose them. HELP PLEASE!!!

BE VERY CAREFULl with the 10% layaway.. I have been fighting with Ticketmaster/Goldenvoice for almost two weeks over "extra" money taken out of my account so watch yours carefully... I noticed when my Jan. 9th payment was taken out they took out an extra $150.10 for "ticketmaster fees". These fees had to be paid with the first payment of 10% down to hold the tickets...
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...

Welcome KaraS. Thanks for posting that helpful information. I just knew that with all my headaches on SC07 tickets that I just knew layaway was going to become a mess since it's the very first time they are trying it out. I'm so glad I decided to not go that route.

Well from experience, I know they SHOULD tell you that ALL the fees come out in the first pmt...but come on, we are not all rocks! That is unfair...fine they need their fees paid no matter what, but that should of been a deal with TM that IF they failed to have available cash on their card at time of pmt due...the gets their fees first!! RIGHT..think about it, GV gets to resale those tickets AGAIN!! so TM gets their fees the 2nd time...or 3rd time!

But...please realize that people hear the tickets go on sale on the radio, and never even know about this site...so this site is NOT Gold and God to people for information....with all due respect!!
So it is up to the TM idiots to convey the info that $150 ON TOP of the ticket prices will come out of their CC on the first pmt.
I can tell you some great experiences...but I won't bore you with them....but the DO NOT tell you everything you need to know, they get you off the phone so they can make the next buck on the next sucker!!
This is why I call venues in person..such as casinos. You don't pay those TM fees!! Lesson learned!

Goldenvoice just refers me back to the number i am already contacting. Oh, and i am freaking out. If i loose these tickets. i am going to be sooo upset!! just wish i could get a reply back from the powers that be.
have faith that they want your money and it will all get worked out. I wish I could help you.

Countrygurl, you keep telling me they will contact me but i have been trying for weeks now to get a hold of someone. It would be just a courtesy for someone to answer back. It is less then two weeks away till the second payment is to be taken back, so telling me that they will contact me really does not help as they have not been responding to anyone of my messages and there have been many. I do not want to loose these tickets so I need a little bit more then "they will contact you"

sorry if that is not good enough. That is what the girl in charge of ticketing who sits 10 feet from me told me, repeatedly, including today, when I asked again. she is the one I forward all the emails too from people inquiring. And I tell her about the posts on this board in regards to ticketing. She is also the same person who gets all the phone messages left.
How about you email again, to info@stagecoachfestival.com and put in there that you have written several times with no response. I will forward it again.

You can always try and call 323-930-7100, the operator helped get me with a live person, which was nice for a change... Oh and about the payments... I knew that the fees were being taken out the first time and didn't have an issue with that...the issue was with them taken the fees out for a second time.

Still nothing, payment has not been taken out and i have not heard back from anyone either. when i called the number above i was just referred back to the original number i have been calling for weeks and getting no response. So there you go.

That sucks - my original plan was to use the layaway option, but after I won tickets to go, I figured I should just pay up front for my camping passes.

I am also trying to contact someone at GV or Stagecoach to change the credit card that is used to fund my layaway payments....
I'm not as persistent as juliebon, but the only response I got seemed to be an automated e-mail telling me that 90% of the questions asked are answered on the FAQ page on the website.
I *need* to change the credit card info - the account info they have now is NO GOOD. I have already paid all the Ticketmaster fees with the first payment that was taken at the time I ordered the tickets online.
The whole idea of layaway is to make it easy for people on a budget (like me, struggling single Mom) and the fact that they haven't taken Payment #1 yet (3 weeks overdue) when Payment #2 is due to be drafted in a week is FRUSTRATING!!!
Any other suggestions???? All help would be greatly appreciated :)

I had my first payment taken out but it didn't go thru until the 12th of January.... It will be interesting to see how February is handled... :confused:

Hmmm maybe GV's contract with TM states that they don't do the "dirty work" once the deposits are taken!:mad:
But as countrygurl said, the girl sitting 10' from her is handling the emails/concerns etc 1 person at a time...they need to get some help for these people...very poor customer service.

I have returned the call, they said my card was declined, not sure why it was, it is the same card i used for my initial payment and the money for my first payment is sitting there. They would not verify the card number they have for me and when i called my bank the said they did not show my card being declined. I called them back and told them since they will not verify what card number you have let me give you the card numer again and to please run it off of that. I was told they would try to run it at the end of the week. Still i do not understand why it would be declined. it is my atm card that i use for everything, so i know it is a good card. and to top it off i have overdraft on my account so nothing should ever be returned.

Yippee!! Just got a phone call and changed my credit card info. Was informed that second draft is scheduled to happen next Monday....

Well, maybe my praise was premature.
Just checked my original credit card online and found a PENDING charge from Golden Voice for 1 layaway payment - this is AFTER I asked them NOT to use that account.
I just left a message on Golden Voice's Stagecoach "Help Line"...hopefully this can get straightened out quickly....
