I see that you cannot bring in alcohol. Fair enough. Do they at least sell beer inside? It is cowboy music, after all.

Yes they do, but all alcoholic beverages are sold in a designated, fenced area. They are very strict.

I like that. I have nothing against drinking. I enjoy a beer now and then myself. But from time to time there are those who enjoy their beer a bit too much. Nice to see they are planning ahead.

So, you can't take alchohol out of the "beer garden" is that correct?

That's right. Because of California's strict laws they have to make sure the alcohol is consumed in a designated area for people over 21. Nobody under the age of 21 is allowed in there, and you can't leave the area with your drink.
They might have some other drinks available, but the full bar is only usually in the VIP area.

It may be different at the Stagecoach Festival, but that's how it is at Coachella. It works out pretty well, and cuts down on litter throughout the venue too.
What about those camping in the RV site? Is there no alcohol allowed there as well? ie; After a long day sitting in the sun watching the concert, I can't enjoy a beer at my RV campsite saturday night?

Get a Aquafina bottle and pour out contents and then fill with either white tequila or rum. You're good to go. Or buy a flask and keep it in your sock.

No that is not true. At least this was not true last year. You had to purchase the beer in the beer gardens but they let you walk around with them.
As far as in the camp ground goes, i think the rules state no alcohol but there was plently of it around....

Technically NO:D
.... but we had brews in our camp no problems.:)
Inside the event you can walk around with yer brew- it is not like Coachella
I don't think you can bring ANY container into the event- they were making everyone dump or drink water bottles before entering so plan on paying the 8 bux a beer once inside.

We were allowed to bring in water bottles as long as the seal was NOT broken yet!;)
