ok...I got lucky! At the right place at the right time. I was at the Home Show in Pomona this last weekend I won free tickets for the Phil Vasser show!! K Frog had a booth there. I think Boot Barn will be having Freebie tickets too since they are the sponser of the event. Should be a fun night and another fun reunion...Who's all going??

soooo... is this event in an outdoor venue? (outdoor pavilion, tent?) or do you just walk out doors to get to it?

Willie was in the outdoor venue, but I am pretty sure that Phil will be performing in the private bar..cant recall the name.
Yeah that walk to the outdoor pavillian sucked!! Had to pee the minute we got there and on the way back! Not even sure there were bathrooms out there...but it was a nice pretty walk!

kfrogs other bday parties were held in the Vibe club so it will probably be there again this year

Kymery check ur snail mail. I got my tix from Kfrog today.
I went to tixmstr lastnight to check on that deal again and there was a message that said Kfrog would be sending out the tix for the birthday bash directly so I called Kfrog and she checked and told me they were mailed out last week. I had her check both my name and yours. She said she mailed you out 4 and 2 to me. So I went to my PO Box and there were mine.
Can't wait to see all of you on Wednesday. :D

Yeah, I got my tickets the day we left for Willie! Forgot to tell you I guess.
REALLY!! I have never seen him, that is awesome! I am sooo excited for that concert too!

meeee tooo!! but I hear its another SRO event??? ugh... forget the boots then. I made that mistake at his last concert in San Diego...I just about threw 'dem boots across the street.

Just so everyone knows... the Phil Vassar concert tonight is 21 yrs old and older! I just spoke with a rep @ the Morongo Resort and they confirmed it!
Festival, I will text you when we check into the hotel so we can all meet up before the show!

Phil was terrific. We were in the Vibe room. Bar setting, nice stage. They had seats for the first 200 people, then when the show started it was SRO and everyone was at the stage. He's a very "personable" performer. sounds as good on stage as he does on his CD's. He really interacted with the audience, took pics and signed autographs. We left after the show, long drive home, but Jessica and Kymery stayed and had pics taken with him. I'm sure they'll post pics, but here's a group pic. Me, Jessica, Kymery, SoCal CG, Yvonne and Doug. Fun seeing familiar faces again

Just got home!! Jessica has all the pics. Phil was very personable, right after the first song he came down and shook Jessie and I's hands. I bought a round of drinks for them and I got to go up on the stage to give them to Phil and his fiddle player. Then after the show the guitarist and fiddle player hung out, chatted it up, got a pic and autographs. Then there was a meet and greet we got into. Phil was very nice, thanked me for the drinks and took several pics with us. Can't wait till Jessie sends them!
Loved all the fun songs he played, old 50-60's, grease!! ahaha..that was fun.

Well, when I bought that round of drinks for the band..I left my CC at the bar and a girl who helped me carry them (and took their order from the guitar player) found me in the casino and told me to go get it...so I walked right back in and just stayed..texted Jessie to come get "her card" at the bar!! ahahaha!! Pretty good for a blonde huh???:p

I think staying at the hotel helped.. we all had to go home (school night, ya know) they got to stay up late and party.

They had no idea we had a room, just dumb luck leaving my card (which I seem to do EVERY DAMN time I drink!)
Luckily the bartender remember what I looked like, cuz I tipped him a HUGE tip!!

Stayed for a while took a few pics of you when the guys were signing autographs. Then we went out and gambles for a quite a while. I texted you that we were going to go do some gambling, it must not of gone through.
I guees I will have to figure out how to get one at WWF if only I had some connections with those folks.

Hung out after the show...they were very, very friendly, and it being KFROG's party, there were only about 500-800 people there. Small venue and very personable...oh and buying the band a round of drinks helped hehee
