ooooh - that is AWESOME news!!! I was in the parking lot tailgating (was before we got smart and decided to camp!) when he played for Stagecoach '07... I hadn't heard his CD yet at that point - but it's great!

I just received another e-mail from Live Nation and here is another opening act. I guess from their my space line-up I'm going to be seeing them open up for Lee Ann Rimes at State Line too.
Pictures of Gloriana. If you like Little Big Town then you will like Gloriana. Such nice peeps. I had time inbetween acts to get another drink, hit the bathroom and say Hi to the group and let them know we are all excited to see them at Universal. Very talented.

Rose - I know my mom / stepdad want to do dinner at Universal next Sunday before the show. Not sure where yet, but will keep you posted so we can meet up for a bit!
Let's all to dinner together up on the hill. I would love to meet your mom and stepdad. I'm sure they are as wonderful as you are. I'm going with my girlfriend Renee and she is super nice (not a tailgater...been sober for 20+ years), still a ton of fun and lot's of "disco" stories from back in the day at Victoria Station/Whomp Poppers. Just let me know where and when to hook up. You have my number.

Unfortunately I can't go anywhere that far on a work night. That's why weekend concerts work out best for me.

I pre-partied at Saddle Ranch with Rose, KittyLeigh, and Kris & Richard last night. Yummy shots and huge drinks make for a sleep Lisa today. But it was a GREAT show last night!!! Gloriana was awesome--first time I had seen them and it looks like I'll be seeing them open for Taylor Swift too. Jason Michael Carroll put on a great show too! But Kymery was right, he LOVES running his fingers through his hair. I think I will send him a pony tail holder or something. =) The main show was awesome and Reba even came out to sing Cowgirls Don't Cry with them. It got out pretty late so it was super hard coming to work today....

Hi everyone i also saw Brooks and Dunn in Primm, NV Saturday night and it was an AMAZING show!!! ive never seen them live before and it was just so great! i was hoping Reba would come out but she didnt :( Its a really small venue so its more intimate then seeing them somewhere big..i saw Leann Rimes a couple weeks ago there and she literally brought tears to my eyes..that girls voice is AMAZING..ive seen her live before but man, smaller places are such a better experience!! Im not sure where everyone lives but in Primm, NV (stateline of NV and CA) they have 500 free tickets to all their concerts this year if you are able to jump on the internet at NOON on Tuesdays one month prior to any show...thats how i got the Leann Rimes and Brooks and Dunn..Alan Jackson and Montgomery Gentry are coming up in the next couple months if anyone is able to attend!!!! go to http://www.primmvalleyresorts.com/promos.html

OH NOOO!!!!!!!!!!! i just went on there to see what other concerts were coming up and they seemed to have removed most of the artist that were supposed to perform..i AM SOO bummed!! Sorry everyone....just last week i went on there and they had a huge list of people performing with the free tickets available....not only montgomery gentry and alan jackson but reba and big and rich and i cant remember who else...i think they might have removed them because Brooks and Dunn was completely sold out and i bet without those free tickets they would have made a lot more money.....what a drag!!

I was there for LeeAnn. She was FANTASTIC. I don't know anybody who can close a show with Amazing Grace done solo. Where were you sitting? I posted pics on "my space" and I got a Gloriana pre-view to opening for B & D.
State line is hurting. I had never seen it so empty before. They have the steak house at Whiskey Pete's closed for weeks now. Rumor has it that they are closing that casino??? I was offered free tickets from one of the dealers for LL cool J and that show was also "sold out". Sold out for state line is a little more than 2000. I sure do hope this economy can keep this place going. A very fun and intimate place to see a concert.

i got so lucky for Leann...it takes about 30 min to get to Primm from Vegas so we ended up getting there until almost 9..the lady at the counter told us they had no more free tickets available even though i had my confirmation but she ended up finding 2 tickets on the floor about 8 rows up when i was supposed to be somewhere in the back!! Where were you sitting Rose?!? It really is a great place...no seat is a bad seat in there...unfortunately your right about it hurting..the deals they are trying give people are pretty great...rooms during the week for 15 dollars! i havent heard anything about Whiskey Petes closing...but in this economy it must be hard to get people out there....
Now your freaking me out VV. I was section 2 Row H (8th row). I know you couldn't be the lady and her husband visting from Germany sitting to my left.
They ended up giving me a "free" room Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. Great deal.

that is to funny rose! i wish i still had my tix to see where i was at..but since we were in such a rush i never bothered looking at them and just had the usher show us where to sit..we were probably sitting right near eachother! and no husband for me....i was with 3 other girl friends....i wish i wouldve spoke up a little sooner on here...it wouldve been great to meet you! :)

hey Val, I have that schedule of performers for Primm Valley, there are some good shows planned. There are a few of us that may want to do a road trip and meet up out there!! I have a feeling these shows are what's going to keep the hotels/ casinos in business. things are very "quiet" out there these days. I like the log ride and shooting range at Buffalo Bills... lol

Hi Festival, i love the log ride! havent been on it in years..or that big yellow roller coaster..used to scare the heck out of me everytime! i really want to go see Alan Jackson in April...i dont know if youve ever been there but i can imagine how great hed sound in a smaller venue..if you decide to make that road trip let me know..me and my friends are planning to go to a few of the concerts up there! its a fun spot with great people!

I saw Alan out there a few years ago... it was so great being so close. Just saw him in November out here, he never dissapoints me. But if I'm not mistaken the day he's appearing at the BB arena is the same day a group of us are seeing Zac Brown and Little Big Town in LA. But would love to stay in touch about the upcoming shows and maybe plan a get together...oh.. btw, I cannot handle that screaming roller coaster....I'd toss my cookies for sure on that one.

it's always difficult to decide which concerts to go to. Price/timing/availability. That new Club Nokia was worth signing up for LBB & ZBB which means we can't go to Alan & Trace.
I did sign up for Big & Rich (ducking) at State Line in June.
