EDII has no curfew. You should be able to run generators all day and night.

Well, I think there will be partying no matter what camp ground you stay in, but EDII is set up for the all nighters with no curfew.
EDII cost $250.00 and you get up to 6 passes wether you need 6 or not. If you need more than 6 then you pay more for each. If you use less than 6, you still pay $250.00.

All good places.
You can also start a thread in the ticket section on this message board. Camping wristbands for sale.
The selling point would be that it allows you in's/out's to the festival even if your not camping for the weekend.

so is the noise "curfew" in ed1 really enforced as it says? or does that one have as much weight as the "no" alcohol statement? i am just deciding if i want to purchase a ticket in ed1 with the curfew or ed2 with the no curfew (((i am an all night type of girl, just want to be prepared))

There was partying at all hours everywhere! But I know for sure that there were all nighters in EDII. Heck once we were done with the concerts, we were done ourselves. Partied for maybe another hour, but decided to hit the sack and rest up for the next day.

How many people for a "sell out"?

Yeah, wonder what that would be....there were twice as many Freebies given out for 08 than it would even hold. All promotional..many people win them and dont use them at all, so that is taken into account.
There are still good seats available if you can afford them! Which I find strange at this point.

Morning...nope, they do not let you pitch tents in the RV areas from what I remember...and yes you get all 6 bands when the ticket purchaser arrives, you will have to set up a meeting spot to hand them over.

I thought about that after I replied, just couldnt remember anyone actually seeing anyone doing it, thinking that is the reason for the tent forum.

Countrygurl is the board moderator. I wish I remembered if I ever even saw tents in RV spots...but it does sound familiar..I will try to search the info
Ok, here is what I did find, but it still is not clear! It states what I thought, that you have to have an RV to camp in the RV areas...but it does not say that you can put a Tent ALSO next to your RV.

You know..I would SURE hope so! Especially considering the "deal" you get with the generous 6 or 8 tickets they "give as a bonus" with the $250 or $750 camping tickets!! I did bring up this issue to GV, say your rig only holds 2-4 people, such as a tent trailer...then what? I was told...just sell the extras...yeah right!. They would have to let tents in the spaces as long as an RV was there...but then again they don't have to do anything.

Just for the record books...has anybody ever set up a teepee before? Thats gotta be so much more work than a pop-up tent.

Rose, last year at different campsites I saw-
sofa beds, swimming pools, and ping pong tables....a tee pee is a possibility!!

sofa beds are so horrible. I would rather just sleep on the sofa. People are really creative at SC. No wonder there are so many rules about what you can and can't bring in.
