Where is it?? Last year our whole family went. I don't see anything about a kid's stage or any activities. Are kid's allowed this year?

From what I was told, it will be scaled down quiet a bit for 2009.

It will be added as soon as all the details are sorted out. We add things as we get info.
Even though it says everywhere on this web sight...
• Children 14 & under free (GA tickets only) Both 07 and 08 had kiddie areas plus kiddie events and kiddie performers, I think spreading the rumor that kids arent allowed would be fun. SC 09 Adult playground only. hehehe although some of the little ones all dressed up in their country clothes have been pretty darn cute.

Any news about a kid's area yet?
Not sure if I'll be bringing my 10 year old son and this info will help in a decision :)

They will have one, just not as big as last year. But personally, the kiddie area is really only 20 minutes of kid fun. Not a place for them to hang all day and keep them busy. You can't see any of the stages from there.

I took my 8 year old son and my 11 year old daughter last year. They both enjoyed the kids area. There was a little band, face painting, a mechanical horse and calf to rope, the planted bell pepper seeds in cups, a straw maze, reading time, etc. It kept them entertained for quite a while.
I will be taking them again this year!!

We didn't bring a kid last year but had so much fun and saw so many little ones that we're thinking of bringing our 6 yr. old boy this year.
Has anyone here brought a kid that age? Was it fun? Was it a nightmare? Did they get bored?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I have brought my girls both years. This will be their 3rd Stagecoach! They were ages 1 and 2 that first year but we survived! They love to camp and listen to music. We never even made it to the kids area in the past but I think that now they are 3 and 4 we will check it out this year!
