Can you bring your own alcohol into the camping area? This is my first time going and a very important question for the husband, lol. :D Thanks!

Last year we heard that there would be no alcohol allowed in the campgrounds - so we hid everything the best we could. But they didn't search anything. I think we had 2 full coolers...and more!
Maybe just don't be obvious (like piling up the 30 packs in plain sight) and you should be good to go!

So far we haven't had a problem bringing alcohol in. I suggest "red cups" and like Kitty Leigh suggested keep it low key!

Beer pong everywhere, people parting in the isles...your are gonna be shocked! completely the opposit of what you may be thinking it is.

The people camping next to us had a keg. :) We became instant friends with that group! Flip cup, Beer Pong, Skully... :) I hope that group will be there next year too!

Yeah I was freaking out about trying to hide all our alcohol. We had 2 cars full and they didn't even stop the car.

It would be just about impossible for them to police all the alcohol coming in, when you walk down any row and people are in lawn chairs drinking beer already, the city of Indio would have a supply of beer until SC10 for sure!

Um..... We went to the store every day and walked right passed the guys at the gates of ED1. We flased our wrist bands and they gave me a smile each time. I also got to know a couple of Indio police officers in 2007. They tracked me down this passed year to say high and one of them ran into me in the concert while they were off duty. The cops party after hours FYI. Bring your party boots on because it is more off the hook then you could ever imagine. People were calling the police because we were partying so late. The horseback cops came by and told us we had to turn off the stereo but could keep partying. The cops are awesome at stage coach.
