Hahah...it may seem close..but the door is always open for everyone to join...we just have been here a long time and many of us met at SC08, and many of us even before that! What is awesome, is all of us that met...seem to have a great connection, one way or another. I am very excited to meet more people this year. I can honestly say that there is not one person on this board that I have met that we dont talk/chat!! Yes there are some that have not been on here in a while...but I know they will be back!

So...thank you for the new post! They are always exciteing..just pray it doesn't get closed due to not SC pertinant.

Last year I hooked up with Horse and her hubby at Neils for the pre-party on Thursday night....we had a blast and tons of memories. I didn't RV or tent. We were all supposed to wear name badges at the PBR and I think I was the only one who showed up that way on Friday. hehehe My friend asked me why am I wearing the name Rose on my chest when that's not even my real name. We were all supposed to hook up on Sunday for a dust angel picture and here I am at breakfast begging my friend that I needed to be at stagecoach by 1:30 for a group photo only to complaints that I'm too tired and lets just relax and eat a good breakfast before the last day of events.

I met over 75 people from this board at SC08.

Festival and I hosted a Breakfast Burrito morning, where we invited everyone to came over and had a brunch with us..it was scattered out over a couple hours. It was a blast and made some great friends.

In my case, I wish they would have cracked down on this years ago. Funny story, my husband and I just bought a used RV, and I was driving for the first time, and we were pulling into a mall parking structure. Can anyone guess where this is going?.... I get right to the entrance and all of a sudden my RV comes to a really hard stop and all I hear is tinkling glass all around me.

It was great meeting up with everyone I "met" on the boards at the actual event. Festival and Kymery hosted an awesome brunch, complete with Raquellita's guacamole! Sacramento was there, bayareagirl, hodgee....so many! I met GSF for 2 minutes at the concert. It was so hard to meet up with everyone, but I tried! I've since been at tons of concerts with Hodgee, hung out with bayareagirl at Cowboy Country, attended a luau with Mommie, Rose and Festival, tried to meet up with Abra at the poison concert....so many people and so many good memories!

Looking forward to meeting you too witchylde!!

Ain't that the truth! I went last year not knowing anyone but the people I "met" here on the boards and had the BEST time! I learned so much from last year and am aiming to make this year even better... as long as wandering bullriders don't find our campsite :D

Well, I took my Class A (sorry I said class c non commercial last time, my bad) and passed...but i had to retake my reg test since it had been so long..friggen failed, retook and passed. Now I gotta find another Class A licensed person to go with me to my behind the wheel...like I was 16 again!! hehehe How the heck to I do that???

Anyway..If you plan on pulling a rig 3 axles and over 20,000lbs you better get your Class A license!

Yeah..no problem...and you really cant do in and outs of the campground anyway..so easier to just stay put...hell at those camping rates..why would you leave..I want every penny of my money!!

Tack room closes to feed and water all the workers and Police officers working...Ugggg


So Neils is the best place for the non Campers to party...
We can call a cab and they are not much if ya drink to much.....
Also the live karaoke and people there are the fun part of the night before ask Rose...

Then you can party all other nights on the grounds if ya wish.
I know the night before is the fun night at Neils....
Besides it is also popping most of the week before they even let anyone in the camping area's.:D:cool:

We're staying in Bermuda Dunes so we sometimes hit that place on the way back home. You need hot wings & nachos to soak up the booze and minimize the on-coming hangover.

My only "issue" with leaving the campground (besides the having to drive - I'm sure there won't be that much sober time - haha) is that we left last year to have dinner on Friday night... When we came back, they were directing traffic to the furthest possible parking lot from the tent camping possible. We had bags of ice to keep the beer cold (a run which I'm guessing we will have to make again this year at least once)...that was fun to carry through the bumpy path back! At least we had already set up our camp - some people arriving at that time had ALLLLL of their camping gear and had to haul EVERYTHING that whole way. Yuk!

BUT - that being said, it's not an idea that I would throw out completely! The parking issue coming out Friday night was because the extra night that was added was happening when we arrived back...

So I basically went through that whole story to come to my response of "maybe." haha (That's me though - I RAMBLE!)

BUT - that being said, it's not an idea that I would throw out completely! The parking issue coming out Friday night was because the extra night that was added was happening when we arrived back...

Hey if you are in Bermuda Dunes the 19th hole is always fun and has really good karoke wed - sat, since we normally drive out to the polo grounds we always end up at the hole afterwards, but Im going to try to hang out at the camps this year
