So like i have stated in earlier threads, i can no longer afford staying in EDII let alone EDI because all the people i was goign to go with have conviently decided to drop out when it came time to pay for the tickets. I want SOOO bad to stay with ya'll in EDI or II most likely EDII cause of the price but will not be able to casue of the stinking price.... im REALLY upset. i DON'T have an RV so renting one would be in order and i just cant afford $700 for the price of my ticket and camping fees including renting an RV. im really bummed and am hoping that i can get a job between now and then as i have been recently fired from my job leaving me in that 6.25% unemployment rate. I live for SC. last year was SOOO much fun. this year im hoping to be able to afford a GA and tent ticket, $150. That way at least i get to go and have some fun, even if it is alone. i have all you guys right?!?!?!?!! well i'd thought id express my anger in my so called "friends" that have left me hanging.

It is possible to to have fun alone! Trust me, both years I have gone by myself, and stayed in a tent, but still had so much fun with all the peeps I met on here and even some that I met at the bar the night before the first day of SC07, so you will have fun no matter where you are! To be honest I prefer going alone, then I am free to wander wherever I may roam!! :D
(eventhough its usually Kymerys rig cuz they're just so darn fun!!! )

I still say it will work out for you! I have a family of 8. My husband is a General Contractor so we all know how building is going right now! I just figured it is our 09 vacation. The family wanted to do SC instead of a family trip next year!
I now always go to concerts alone. I get to show up and leave when I want to. Do what I want to. See what I want to and it's hassle free. I've met so many people at concerts and most people are in a really good mood and just want to have fun and enjoy the music.

The price for this concert is out of hand. Although I wouldnt miss it for anything & already paid an arm & a leg for tkts... I wonder how much it'll cost next yr.

Hopefully by next year the economy will be better and they will adjust the price. But more than likely since we all dove in and paid these prices, they probably won't.

Has anyone figured out why or how they are expecting to sell RV spots at 700 a pop? That's not economical for anyone, unless you're packing 8 people into the RV. I thought I found an El Dorado 1 RV pass for 100$ on ticket master... Bought it.. Turns out I can't read and its just for me to park my truck in the tow vehicle parking lot =(. We're making a run on ED 2 this year. Thats where the party will be 4 nights of fun. All are welcome. Working on the festivities and banner. Will post more after the holidays.

The why is to make up for the great $99 weekend pass savings...the how..well that verdict is still out. the 50amp are sold out, still 30 amp avail. You aren't alone in your thinking.
Are you pulling a trailer..or are you driving an RV/motorhome with a vehicle pulled behind it? If you are pulling a trailer with your truck..you don't need that parking pass!! But if you are driving an RV and pulling a 2nd steering wheel behind your motorhome then yes you do need that pass. But from what I can gather out of what you wrote...you have a truck that pulls your trailer...so you didn't need to spend $100 for park it...parking is free.
