Are they the same this year?? If I want to camp in the tent forum but purchase a camping wristband from an RVer trying to unload an extra wristband, will I be able to set up camp in the forum or must I purchase a forum specific wristband???
Thanks in advance!! :)

I was kinda curious about that too. I bought my Forum pass already - but was wondering if they were different because they would have to track how many people they sold FORUM passes for - so they'd know how many spaces are left?

I'm sure someone has that answer for you though!

If they ARE different - us Forum folk should still be able to visit ED, right?

eh screw the RV, you can party with me in the forum. i have a feeling im getting priced out of EDII as my original group of people are suddenly "not able to afford it" now that its time to pay....

Well previous years, all camping wristbands were the same, you clicked on the same button when you purchased them, but this year I noticed there were 2 buttons, 1 for RV people and 1 for tent forum.

She is right about them knowing how many forum people to plan for. If everyone in RV's sells theirs to people who assume they will have tent space AND they sell out of forum camping there won't be enough space.

Or something like that.

If you are tent camping you should buy a forum tent camper wristband.

Types of tickets for FORUM:
$50 (+ applicable charges) - Tent Camper People Pass. If you plan on camping in the Forum, each adult over age 14 needs this pass.

True, but they weren't keeping track of it in previous years since all the wristbands were the same and the same button was clicked to purchase them...but I could very well be wrong....

So, I CANNOT purchase a wristband from an RVer because it won't let me camp in the forum......is that what you are (not really) saying?

I ask (again) because you didn't say MUST or NEED TO....you said SHOULD....

If you are forum camping yes you can go into other camping areas.

Each camper will have an 8x8 space (aprox. 64 square feet). It is a beautiful serene grassy area perfectly suited for tents located across from the main venue entrance and offers quiet private surroundings. The Forum offers tent campers their own free private parking lot located directly behind the grass line. All camping amenities included. Yes you can visit any of the other RV areas too.

As long as I can visit my friends in the RV area, I'm happy to be camping in the Forum. =) Thanks countrygurl.

I'm sure it's just their way of keeping a head count to prep the area. They could be cracking down after what happened last year in Forum.

I personally could give two shits about where we're "allowed" to go with the wrist bands, I'll be going to ED1 & 2 to get my party on!

From what I understand...you must buy a "tent forum" camping ticket to reserve an 8x8 space. Then you also have to buy $50 "camping" wristbands that get you in and out of your camping area...but this band also gets you into the other areas ie: EDI, EDII, etc. and also allows you to come and go out of the actual venue if you want (which just concert tickets dont allow, you cant come and go)

So basically the camping wristbands are all the same thing, it is just the Forum camping pass you must also have to tent camp.

forum camping wristband is included in the price of 8x8 tent camping spot according to website, 2 seperate purchases are not necessary, $50 gets you everything:

Correct, but it is confusing...I understand you get and 8x8 and that is ALSO a camping pass, (only ONE pass comes with that) but if you have 3 others in your tent then they must ALSO buy a $50 camping pass, I am pretty sure about that! That is what I was trying to say, so if 4 people in your tent spot will cost $200.00 total.

It's $50.00 for a forum spot (gets you your spot and access to all campgrounds for one person). If you have more people in your tent, then it's $50.00 per person extra. You'd be better off just buying each person a forum spot for $50.00 each, show up together and get more than one spot next to each other. More room for your group. No?

Good theory!! hehehe..
AND if anyone needs extra camping tickets on top of the spot ticket...I am sure there are many of us whom have extras, who can't and won't fit 6-8 people in our RV's! Saves you the TM fees if you just buy off of us who have extras.

Or...if you have more than one person in your tent, buy one forum pass(to get your tent spot) and buy your extra camping passes from someone who has extra camping passes.
You shouldn't need forum camping passes for extra people in your tent, just camping passes. No????

You are correct, but your previous idea was even better cuz that one 8x8 spot was just enough for me by myself last year, it would have been a bit cramped if there were 2 of us with all our gear and crap!! :)

I have extra camping passes from my ED1 reserved spot. I don't know if they are the same as forum ones or not. I never will understand all of the SC rules.

They are not the same to get a tent spot, but they should be the same to get extra people for your spot if you already have a forum tent spot.

Yeah, they wont reserve you a tent spot...just allow extra people to camp in your tent spot.
