Countrygurl,
Can you answer me a question. Since this year you don't have to hold VIP tickets back for VIP wristbands (handing out at the event), are the tickets going to be sent out the minute they are paid for in full? I went ahead and ripped off the bandaid and paid with my Amex.
Someone asked me if you won GA tickets will they get sent out to the radio stations ASAP or later on down the road?

unless you are talking about layaway (which tickets wont be shipped until after final payments made in April) then the non-layaway ticket orders will be going out pretty soon. I don't have an exact date but it shouldn't be too long and if you chose the print at home option they will be emailed to you.

i dont know about when you win tickets.. i would inquire direct with the station you won them from. I would think when you win them you are told how/when you will be getting them.

For real now, was there really any GC even available to the general public today, I got through 3 mins before 10 and best available was anything but GC

yes but there are only a few of those seats and thousands of people trying, they go in a blink.
When we pick up our VIP wrist bands at the event will we need to show our tickets AND I.D.? That would be sweet to stop all the scalping.

Here's an idea I saw on WE Fest's ticket sales, give vip the availablity to guarantee your seat for the next 3 years, pay first year now and pay the next year about a month before the event for the next year, this would work great for people who will come and pay reguardless of the artists and locks the prices for the time period for the consumer

I dont see how ID and ticket could stop scalping??? I purchased tickets in my name. I give my family each a ticket... I was not asked to register each name like an airline ticket. Soooo how does that stop someone from selling thier tickets to someone else???

there is a barcode on the ticket that will only work once. you buy the tickets, print them and go to show you have no problem.

thats kinda nifty. only problem is that there is no room for people new to SC. if they did that everyone from last year would keep their seats for the next year and new-comers are left without seats and forced in to GA

Yes but there is no way that all the seats get sold this way, it just gives goldenvoice a solid start before any other seats are sold

i hope so. i wanna take my future wife and kids and make a family ordeal out of it someday. im no where near being married let alone having kids anytime soon so they need to stay around for a couple decades. cant wait to be the old geezer in the front row drunk of his @$$ having a good time ;)

The barcode doestn stop you from reselling them. You sell the ticket, and hand them the ticket right then. Never used. barcode still good.

ive been to hollywood like once or twice.... i WAS sure i could buy EDII but then 2 of the people i was going to go with bailed when i said, "are you sure your in, im gonna buy the tix now there on sale and i dont want to miss out" i now cannot afford to eat the whole price of it alone. i dont have an RV and need to rent one as well..

Sorry, I am a big Country fan but this is the first time I am going to one of these and I have a few questions that I am hoping you experts can answer for me.
My friends and I bought Reserved tickets ($499 ea) for Sat & Sun.
Do these also cover entry at 12pm? (because my receipt said 8pm)
When will the Friday tickets go on sale? Why don't they sell them now?

Gates open Sat and Sun at 12. Thats when your tickets work. No show on friday except the drunk people in the RV and tent camping!

Can anyone tell me...if I have VIP tickets and I decide to bring my 2 kids (7 & 3), will the kids be able to come into the VIP lounge area if I don't have VIP tickets for them?

I don't think so. They have to have a wrist band and a paid seat for VIP Area. My youngest is 13. The free kids entry applies to General Admission I believe.

Only 2 and under can get to VIP without tickets it says. It says all over that the 14 and under thing is just General Admission.
