Ok, so there has been a lot of b*tching about the prices of ED1 and ED2. Where has everyone decided on camping. Are we all going to be cheep and tent it in the tents or going to throw down and be in ED1. I'm curious b/c I'd like to be where everyone else on this thread is and maybe we can have some fun together.

hmmm.... im thinking if i get 4 people and rent an RV and stay at ED2, it will cost $300 each person for the RV, ED 2 spot and the GA ticket. It is $150 for the forum. I figure for a little bit more i can host my own parties in ED 2. I may go this route. hopefully i can get some people together.....

As much as it is I think my wife and I, along with some friends will be staying in our trailer in ed1. Come join us for the PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO IT. its UBERRRR fun... from what i hear. last year i was in a hotel. this year, ED2 (hopefully). it should be a lot of fun and its really not that expensive. if you dont have an RV you can rent one and take 3 other people with you. the price per person is $200 plus 99 for tickets, comes out to $300 per person for the weekend. this way you don't have to drive home drunk and can get even more hammered and just stumble back to your RV or tent. the Forum is only $50 plus the ticket is $150 for the weekend. hotel might be a little more and you'll have to find a ride there if you wanna have a lot of fun if you know what i mean ;)
Thinkin about campin in ED1. Camping is a great way to enjoy the concert, you have got your food and adult beverages, you can exit out of the venue and enjoy and come back to the music.

We've been priced out of the camping option which is ok. Luckily we have family in Bermuda Dunes but the downside is having to sober up enough to drive back there each night.

EDII has no curfew. You can run your generator 24 hours.

Naw.
They have cabs or limos that can give a ride from the corner of Monroe and 50th.....
They also are just finishing the new 4 lane expansion on Monroe in front of the event.Should make traffic alot smoother....:D
It is a pick up and drop off point.I posted numbers last year on the boards.....
Then you could party all night at all the amazing clubs in town.Lots of roadies with the bands go to Neils on 111...Lots of the eagles guys were singing at the karaoke they have last year it was a blast....:D
Cabbing it is best or chip in and get a limo for the night....

I just hope they are better organized this year. Last year we paid for a 30amp spot, and when we arrived, they "couldnt figure out where to put us" as people were doubled parked. We waited almost 3 hours until they "added us into the fire lane" at the far back corner away from everything and another hour before we had power. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
You can tell by the pricing that they are feeling the pains of the economy...last year was $165.00 for 2 day general admission and many more popular names! Not sure how many are apt to fork out the money they want for ED1 or ED2

ED1 (50amp - Love that AC in the afternoon ) figure that with that being limited should have a space when ever we pull in ) with a few excellent seats.

So are we hooking up again at Neils on Friday night??? I had a blast there. You and the hubby are loads of fun plus the good food. I Still laugh everytime I think of that drunk guy I was dancing with that layed on the floor.
