This will be my first year at Stagecoach and I wondering everyones opinion on General Admission.

If I actually want to see the artists should I spring for reserved seating or is that not necessary?

Haha...first of all welcome!!

Now...hate to say this but read all the post from the past week. Seats are great, but in many opinions...this year GA may be the way to go. I had 12th row last year and worth every penny, but this year...we are GA (we also were GA 1st year).

Just cant justify the seat prices for only two days and the line up.

If you are not camping, then maybe seats would be a better option to put your money in?

That depends?
Is money not an issue?
If not then yes....
If your going to just have fun with friends and walk around stage to stage then no....
Or if you like having a set seat then Yes...
I take that back you can still have a set seat you bring in at GA...

You can see the artist on the second stages just fine since no reserved seating there. You can also see the artist on the big screens from GA....

Now you can pick what will work for you.....
Welcome and it will be a great event...:)

Thank you guys!

I've been thinking I will go General Admission... I just was considering spending some extra money so I can get that much closer to Brad Paisley (haha). A girl can dream.

I'm super excited for the festival! thank you guys for welcoming me to the board!

You will be close to him...
All girls should be able to dream...
You will have the best time no matter how close you get.
The real fun is not in front of the stage..... :D

getting an actual seat for one artist probably isn't worth it. You can DEFIANTLY have fun with GA. If you really like many of the artists then you might want to upgrade to get a seat, but if you're there for only one or two, then i'd say its not worth it.

General Admission is the way to go... Its a blast... Especially if you're runnin around stage to stage, but even if not... The price doesn't justify the seating... GA for sure.. =)

General Admission for me. Sure you can only see them on the big screen, but you can here them live. Plus, like it has been said before, it's all about the experience.

*GA tickets= $99
*EDII camping=$250 (What person with an R.V. really needs full hook ups?)
*Meeting new friends, listening to some good country music live, camping out and partying= PRICELESS

GA is probably best since all the good stuff is on the smaller stages anyway.

GA is by far the best way to go in '09. The first two years I would say, Go girl and get the up close seats. But like my buddy Kymery said above, with the line-up and prices for only two days its better to go cheap and spend 100 dollars vs. up to 800.

The ppl who dont care about spending that type of $$ will still buy them but the real country fans who work hard for their money will do GA and stay from thu-mon! lol

Countdown is officially...165 days: 23 hrs: 40 min: 24 sec

I'll second this!!!! but still 350 is a lot for a sub-par lineup....

Sorry. :o

( Welcome Kaity!!! )

GSF don't apologize... you are 100% correct in your statement! The price HIKE for the reserve seating, plus the line-up is not justified!

GA IS THE WAY TO GO FOR '09

Thank goodness I won GA tickets already! We are set for next year!! :D

You are correct PJ22, GSF did not need to apologize for his thoughts.

Just a little rough being told that because I plan on purchasing a seat that I'm not a "real" country fan and that I don't work hard for my money. To each his own.

OMG...I'm soooooo addicted to celebrity rehab.

I'm hoping GSF will win the lottery and buy a front row seat so he can blow kisses at his favorite red-head.

Rose, I did not mean that you were not a real fan, etc. I just didnt know anyone who was gonna pay the money they are asking for to have a reserved seat.

If I had enough moolah, i would pay it to see reba up close :)

I know and I'm sorry for saying anything. We should all have a "discounted" SCMB pit area.

We gotta all figure a way to get a meet and great for you with Reba. Somebody out there must have the right connections.

I can't really tell from the map of the venue for 2009 - is General Admission pushed back further since there are 3 areas of Reserved seating? Kinda looks (to me) like there are just smaller sections of VIP and GA is the same, but not sure....?

Not that it's going to make me spend more $, can't do more than GA - but just curious!!

I love my kids, my hubby, my grandbaby. :D

But there are times I wish I was Rose.

Rose has a good job and her passion is music, so concerts are her indulgence.

So Rose, as I have said before I will live vicariously through your concert outtings.:D

I think GA is a great way to go. You can hear all the artists clearly, and hop from stage to stage without worrying about killing yourself to get through the crowds to find your seat again..... GA is awesome, whether you have money or not... It's how you meet all the wonderful people that make the whole experience so great!

wine and cheese in front or beer and pretzels in back, the choice is easy. plus, if you get there early before doors open you can get a spot directly behind the reserved seating. think about it, that person in a seat right in front of you paid $399 and you paid $99 to be a few feet further back. that's what my friends did last year and they had the time of their lives. it was all good until someone on the other side of the fence decided to take a piss and ended up going all over the mother of my friends' girlfriend!

That's gonna be my plan....the getting there early to claim my spot with a chair....not the taking of a piss on somebody's MOTHER!! LOL!!! What a d-bag!

SC07 I planted my chair infront of mane stage, left for 4 hours to see other acts and when I came back, it was right where I left it! Gotta love country fans!!!
