EDII isnt bad at all...consider $250, thats 4 peeps at $50 each and only $50 to camp for 4 days? And then split that up...hella cheaper than a hotel:D

we might think about it. We only live about 25 minutes away and my husbands dad lives two minutes away form the polo fields, but I loved camping last year, so maybe I will get a very nice christmas gift from my hubby and he will decide to do it all.

ya i was thinking the same thing. I ran numbers. for GA and staying in ED2 with a RENTED RV it costs $300 each person for 4 people. 5 or 6 and you're paying a little less. for the forum its only 150. wouldnt a hotel cost more then $50????? and plus this way you dont have to drive home drunk or have a DD.

You pay only 10% of the purchase and then each month 10% until the festival... That's sounds like an awesome plan to me! I plan on doing my best to get Gold Reserve and Camping in El Dorodo2... El Dorado 1 is an all ages campground and offers the highest quality of RV camping located closest to the venue entrance, cyber tent and clubhouse.

NO SAVING SPACES - Arrive together to camp together

It is also the only camp area that offers electrical hook ups for the entire area (30 & 50 amps). Only a Limited # of 50 amp hook ups are available to purchase and will sell out fast!

The Eldorado 1 (30) amp 125 volt power.
If your vehicle exceeds your 30 amp power limit and pops the breaker,
you potentially may affect two of your neighbor's power. If your vehicle
exceeds the 30 amp 110 volt limit , you will be warned and the breaker will
be re-set. After a second offense of over amperage on a 30 amp breaker, you
will be disconnected from the El Dorado Power grid with no refund.

You drive a two door truck with bucket seats to pull your 30' trailer, so only two people can fit legally. Where the Hell do you put the other 4 people in the truck..they CAN'T Ride in the trailer cuz that is against the law? different for 5th wheels..they CAN ride in them. (strange law)

I do agree. $799 for good seats to see Reba, Brad and Kenny is a good deal.

But you have to factor in that at this venue the seating area is flat. So unless you are tall and you can see over folks and their hats, you wont get to see em as well as you wud at lets say Verizon's Irvine Amph or Glen Helen.

I am not camping I live too close to justify it.
But GV should've of just said the camping prices had to go up sorry, we did what we could. Not tried to sugar coat it, or try to say well look at the wristbands as a bonus.


And that would of been the end of it. Honesty is something all consumers have a better time dealing with.

So true. The price of my trip to CMA Fest (airfare, 4 night hotel, concert ticket) next year looks like it will equal what I will be spending on Stagecoach if we decide to camp in ED I. More than likely we will just camp in ED II, run our generator and go with GA tickets. We have way too much fun to miss Stagecoach this year :D

I live in palm desert so i have never camped but it sure would be fun i bet, I used to go to one of the biggest country music festivals in the country in minnesota were im originally from and the camping was awesome, the acts went thur-sat night and after the the last show every night the campgrounds (10 different ones all walking distance and around the lakes) were like going to night clubs at some sites, dj's and dance floors, the whole nine yards. The festival is called WE Fest if anyone wants to google it.

Hopefully this issue is brought up and things are re-worked. Glad I could inform ya...It is a while away, but it is going to be a blast. Camping is right across a side street and you walk maybe 100 yrds to the entrance. It is a smaller venue, in the Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium and every seat is awesome! Hope to see you there!

I'm just bummed they priced out the little guy. Originally ED1 was $750 for camping and 6 wb's. I factored that as $450 for camping and $50 ea. on the wb's. That and the reworking of the reserved seats, and the price increase there, worked out to only $130 more or so, per person, based on 6 peeps, which is what we had last year.

Our friends are now gawking at the increase and backed out. So, now me and the wife are out, becuase we can't justify $750 for camping plus reserve seating for four days, for two people.....Flat out sucks!

I will tell you, the power hook ups made ALL the difference!

I agree. No power shouldn't be a deal breaker. I'll be in EDII and GA. If I need power then i'll fire up the generator. I didn't use it too much last year. Besides i plan on visiting you guys, not hanging at my camper the entire time.

For the past two years i didnt buy power..dont you have a generator?..not hot enough to need a/c (dont mark my words with my luck) I needed to run my generator for maybe 3 hours total per day, showering/hair dryer, micro, and recharge of batteries.
