I hope they clear the following up:

I see there are some great camping packages and thrilled they are offering them this way...BUT...what if you don't have that many people in your rv? 6 people is a LOT!! I just want two people in my RV. And some Rv's wont even hold that many!
Hope there are more options!!!

Oh and very excited that the rv spots are 20x50 instead of the cramped 13x50 this year! Now I can actually walk out my RV and put my pop out..out!!

True true

They need to offer 2, 4, and 6 people packages for the RV's in EDI. If they don't then I will have a couple wristbands for sale!! ahahah...ooooops is that considered scalping? But WHO the heck will need more than 6 for their RV? N one will want/need to buy them. Good money scam!!

EDII has a 4 person option...strange

are they kidding!!!......$850 for a spot and 6 wristbands! What will we do with the other 4? What happened to purchasing the bands separatley from the RV ticket? This bites! For two of us we're looking at a little over $1k for 2 days.....I love stagecoach, but $1k is expensive!!!!!!!

I know..this CANT be all the options. What made them think there would always be 6 people in one RV? maybe in the family one, but not the others! I rock my RV all by myself!! hahaha

I read on the camping page a "no power" option for ED1. It goes for $250 and includes
4 wristbands. This is shown in the paragraph above the packages. They should have listed it with the other options.

Um...that is for Handicap I beleive..but will recheck, cuz that is what I am getting.

Yeah, that is only a handicap option for ED1

Countrygurl

that is for handicap and you must have the legal official placard to order that.

yes ed1 comes with 6 wristbands only unless handicap no power option

I'm confused (as usual). What if the handicapped ppl want power? It seems they would need more power to recharge their turbo wheelchairs. :D

Forum camping here I come. It is much less confusing (and much cheaper) camping in a tent. Just make sure you bring a flashlight. :) (It is hard setting up camp at 3am without one.)

Kymery

So is there an option for NO power without handicap in ed1 with only 4 people? or even 6...is it all power in ed1?

Rose

Maybe all the extra wristbands that the RV people have to purchase can be sold to the campers?

kymery.. what about ED1, no handicap, and being first in line when the gates open...how close will that get us and I'm trying to figure out the cost difference.

No..cuz it it is more money. $750 vs. $250??? That doesnt make sense. The only reason you get ADA access for $250 is that they have to offer it for the same as edII prices.

I am just wondering why they are not offering NO hookups spots in EDI and only NO hookups in EDI for ADA access.

Yes, IF they stick to 20' wide, there shouldnt be the hassle from last year. Our 13' ended up being 11 1/2' wide and our rig is exactly that without opening doors and pop outs

Yeah...and who is Poco? Several names I have never heard of, but I do my research and get up to date on them. That is why I would love some TX bands to come out here!

Poco is an old band from the late 60's/early 70's. I think some of the band members were in Buffalo Springfield or something. I couldn't name a single song of theirs.

I like POCO.. or at least I should say ther were good in "their day" mid 70's, toured with Little River Band. They had a few songs I can remember ....Crazy Love, In the Heat of the Night...I still have one of their cd.s "Gold" time to dust it off and listen again.

Can we have jello shots again? :D

Kymery

Countrygurl...can you confirm that there will be NO option for NO hookups for only 4 people in ED1?? That ONLY ADA access has that option?

Kymery

I bet you a ticket that kuntrygal has them!

Kymery

I may of just found my answer:

quote:
ED1
It is also the only camp area that offers electrical hook ups for the entire area (30 & 50 amps). Only a Limited # of 50 amp hook ups are available to purchase and will sell out fast!

So I am to assume correctly that ONLY ADA access will have the option for NO elect in ED1...thats me!!;)

Well at least that means more elect for peeps..cool!!

Countrygurl
11-06-2008, 09:37 AM
yes we have to offer that for ada. . happy to comply. :)

IHML, will you be tent camping again for 09?

Kymery
11-06-2008, 10:54 AM
So, assuming I must buy 4 passes with my RV package...I will probably have two tent camping passes for sale...that is IF they do the same as last year...the people passes were the same as the Tent camping passes.

Countrygurl...do you know? I think this is also gonna be a huge issue, there will be tons of extra camping passes floating around due to the minimums.

Orrrr...I can rent out a spot in my RV? Think my hubby would mind?

Only the hot and cute can apply!

Well KittyLeigh will for sure. I still don't know if I can even go! We're going into production in the spring for a movie I'm working on. If we are on location then I can't go. If it's local, then YES I will be camping!

Make the location Stagecoach. I'm sure Goldenvoice wouldn't mind the publicity.

Yeah, $799 to bring your RV, I don't need to RV Camp that bad... And I don't need 6 passes for people in my RV... Sounds like a racket to me... I just don't get why they have a minimum number of passes at 6 for RV spots.. Especially when its $50 a piece, thats not cheap... Thats not much love for all the fans of Stagecoach.

I'm super excited about camping again! I'm crossing my fingers for IHML's boss to decide on a LOCAL production!!!!

I need to find out who else is joining me though - I think our friend Jeanne (was there last year - hung out at our camp for a while before they were checking wristbands closely - I think while "PBR Frank" was there - haha) is gonna camp - yay! I think Noel will be back as well - woohoo!

Looking forward to it! You guys had a fun group! :) It won't be the same if IHML can't make it though.

And "PBR Frank"--as much as I hope he doesn't make a repeat appearance--he was quite entertaining.

It DEFINITELY won't be the same! I'm gonna have to hurt her boss if he takes her away to the east coast or somewhere during that time!!!!

haha - ditto on PBR Frank - once was entertaining and definitely ENOUGH! :)

Aw, thanks guys. Cross your fingers that we won't be on location in April!! We have parties to lead on the Indio campgrounds!
