Each year the dates, line-up and ticket sales are in Nov.
The dates came a bit early so maybe the others will too! I have an internship at my local country radio station and there I usually get the heads up early! I will keep an eye out for announcements. ;)

Every year it seems boot barn gives away 2 tix with a $500 purchase. We're thinking of buying our camping passes(ED1) early, and waiting for the boot barn deal to get our actual tix. Then we not only go to SC 09 but get a bunch of cool stuff.

I did that, but by the time I got there (1 mile away) they were sold out!!

We happened to go to boot barn after we had already bought our SC tix last year. They still had em available. That's why we were thinking it this year. I dropped in looking for work boots.

Well, I would do that too. Especially since they never run out of GA tickets. But we are going to get seats again this year, and for course i will try to win them for the third year.

Well Kymery some of us have to slum in the GA seats. Plus we'd have to buy the kids tix to be in the high rent district. I'm waiting for my boss to ask what the he** that # is from me trying to win tix.

True True...that is why you DON'T bring the kids....

The first year we did GA, 2nd year I tried to win, a no go, so I broke down and purchase seats from E-bay, 12th row...I had just had back surgery and GA would of been hard on me. But THEN...I finally won GA, sold those to help offset the price. This year gonna do the same.

assigned seats would be nice....but they got to be pretty expensive. It was kind of fun having GA tickets, too. We roamed around freely from stage to stage, had a big group to sit with and even had the VIP wrist bands for shorter beer lines and nicer potties..We'll see what happens in 09.

here here. GA is not as upclose to the stage as I would like but, you can bring blankets for others to laydown, etc. And you can roam from anywhere to anywhere. Plus its easier for the whole big group to sit together, cus assigned seating only has so many seats in one row, and only getting to sit next to 1-2 ppl. its better to just be in one big group together.

BUT IF I WIN THIS YEAR ON THE RADIO FOR UPCLOSE SEATS, PEACE OUT, AND HELLO UP CLOSE MANE STAGE!!! lol... i know, im a traitor

the party is definitely on the lawn. i missed that last year. HOWEVER, i loved being closer to the bands. what was really nice was wandering, mingling, hanging on the lawn, moving to VIP, and KNOWING my seat was going to be there when i got back.... if i could find my way to the reserved seating entrance, that is.

lawn people question - am i seriously the ONLY one freaked out about trying to find my "spot" - a 5x5 square blanket in a sea of drunken bodies, if i have to walk away and go potty?? how do you all do it?? i still have nightmares about SC07 and not being able to find my friends in the pitch black bermuda triangle. :(

Abra, totally with you (too bad you had to stare at the back of my head for sc08!) They need better entrances, cuz you actually have to navigate thru the sea of drunken bodies to get to the entrance, and they all chew you out for standing in their way, while security checks your tickets. Oh and then I had the brats from hell in front of my seats who stood the whole weekend, and they were FRONT row in our section!!

I remember concerts at Glen helen, and they put a row of outhouses up on the hill, i would count how many down I was, then make a b-line down the hill to my spot...again getting chewed out cuz I had to step on others blankets to get to mine. So you gotta find a marker (if you can remember what it was still after a few red cups) and go from there.

Hey I want to know what happened to Tony and Chris too. I emailed Mike and Linda and Mike said that "they're contract didn't get renewed". I think they got themselves in trouble or Jack and Chris got themselves into trouble.
Do tell if you know. IM me too.

Their contract did not get renewed is what happened. They are still in SD; taking a sabbatical.

everytime one of us in our group went to the bar and or bathroom, my husband would wave some light saber/sword things for us. Believe me after a few too many grey goose and cranberry drinks it came in real handy.\
I tried to enable the link to my photobucket pics but didn't work.

I will have him do something similar again this next stagecoach. i don't want to get lost for hours.

Yes we will. But you never know for Reba. My mama keeps telling me not to get my hopes up, because she's really big! But I am having my faith!
