What day are most planning to arrive there? It would be great to get most of team red cup in the same area. I'm shooting for thursday night myself after the over selling of El Dorado 1 last year. We'll probably leave when the girls get out of school on thursday. That gets us there about 8 pm.

We will be there the minute they open the gates as always!, I think they were saying on the 23rd, which is that Thursday?

looking to get there on thursday when they open the gates....hoping to get ED1 camping this year, too. Would be fun to get as many forum people together in the same area, it was alot of fun last year.

Thu. as well. Last year everyone got there early and in the middle of the night FF calls me, and I was so upset that I was missing out I told myself, this won't happen in '09! lol

I remember very well calling you, too.. Hodgee had already started us on the magic in a cup...I lost track of time, figured if we were awake, everyone else should be.. so I called you!!! and woke you up!! ha ha.. great memories, too. Can't wait till SC 09 !!

Yup, hodgee called me after that magic in a cup! I was packing the car up to leave in the morning and he kept saying what great of a time he was having. I was so jealous!!

What time do the gates open? We were hoping the girls could get most of their school day in Thursday since they will miss Friday and Monday. We're planning to pack Wednesday night. Pick-up the RV Thursday AM and have it ready to go when the girls get out of school. We went that route last year and got out there about 8.

This year we got there Weds eve cuz they opened it earlier due to Fri being added, and if I remember correctly for 07 th they opened at about 10 am on thurs, by that night it was pretty darn crowded.

We got there on Thursday morning this year and were lucky to get one of the last few spots in El Dorado 1. Hopefully they don't completely oversell this year. We may have to come up on Thursday night for SC '09 so we don't miss the first night of the party. Sounds like that was when the most fun was had :)

When we pulled into ED1 Thursday night about 8:30 I think. It was just after dark. I remember thinking there's no way everybody is gonna fit in as loose as they were letting us park. Sure thing Friday morning they were making people tighten up their spaces and giving away wristbands to people willing to go to another area. It's starting to look like the girls might miss some school on Thursday too. No wonder rednecks aren't known for their grammar.

Wha well dang. If I can't find the word on the can well then I just have to go about it on my own. When I see that red line under it I just figure cause it's an important word.
