1 room, 3 nights
Travelodge Palm Springs
333 E Palm Canyon Dr
Palm Springs, California 92264
like 30 minutes from the polo fields
Check in Friday April 24th
Check out Monday April 27th
I booked this room for Coachella in July, and I can't cancel it, so my only option is to sell the room, I paid $230 for the weekend, I am only asking $200 for it, but you need to be 100% sure you are going to be there, the company that I booked this from is being really strict about their policy and I can only put your name on the room once.
PAYPAL would be the best option for this transaction.
PM me if you are interested.
( this is my first post here but I am a Coachella board member )

Sorry to hear that but it so far from the polo grounds.Hope you get it sold....
Best wishes....:)
takes about 30 minutes to walk back to the car and then another 30 minutes just to get out of the parking lot.
That's a pretty good deal for 3 nights.

Stagecoach people have it really easy with the RV's, I know this is not great for Stagecoach, but for Coachella this is a great deal, my hotel for Coachella is around the same area and and it was way more expensive. But I still have six months to sell this.

Then another 35 min back to your room......
Wow over an hour and a half maybe this will get more people to get a tent.....lol:o
No way it is 30 min in the traffic
On a normal day yes but not in the crowd

Coachella is more crowded than Stagecoach and we usually make it in 30 min to the venue, maybe on saturday its harder to get in to the parking lot, but we do this every year and always works fine, and you guys are not making this easier for me, all I want is to sell this room, not waste the reservation and help somebody that doesn't want to camp get a cheap room.
"you people"...well good luck to ya
I think the O.J. thread said something like...Karma is a Bitch
P.S. Not everybody here is a camper. I will be getting a room myself.

Sorry about that "you people" thing (edited), I forgot I'm not at the Coachella board...what I meant was that you guys keep saying this is a bad deal, and its not, eventually stagecoach is going to get really big and I'm pretty sure you are getting a strong lineup this year, your not going to find cheap hotels near the polo fields.

Hi cbrl23, welcome. :)
We do prefer to be called folks, guys, gals.
Personally I've gotten the ocasional crazy, loud drunken country bumpkins. (OK my attempt at humor.)
With that said.
Good luck on selling the room resv. It is a good deal. I just checked Holiday Inn in Indio they want 167 a night.
Someone will snatch it up, dont worry.
I did say in an earlier post that it's a good deal. Now that all the hotels are getting the dates figured out we are going to pay out the nose. Coachella people might have a shot at good rates until they figure out the dates have all changed. Stagecoach peeps are going to be paying the Coachella rates if anything is available. I'm sure you booked your room as you were checking out last year.
We complain about all the walking and traffic...it's in our Southern California blood :D

Yeah...book now before the hotels change the rates!!
I just booked my room. It was a little bit pricier than last year (same place) but what are you going to do with Coachella rates.
P.S. Just being nosey...Travel lodge in Indio is SOLD OUT! Palm Springs is looking better all the time.

Ummmm. With the way the stock market is plummeting everyone will be buying tents....
Tick tock only time will tell.....
Lots of rooms at the The New Augua Caliente hotel and fantasy springs and casino rates might be good too...
Like I said hope you have a buyer soon.I remember last year and all kinds of last minute deals popped up all over the place on this board and kept getting lower and lower the closer it got.
Oops sorry guess that did not help either.

I agree, maybe I should rent out my rig! I could use the money now a days! heheheee
Last year I checked out one of the nearby casinos and they wanted $350.00 per night. Since I'm not spending that much time and will be busy at the festival I thought it was a little bit too pricey.
I don't think I could handle "tenting it". I'm pretty much a woose.
Fantasy Springs AAA rate is $414.00 per night. Regular rate is $459.00 per night.

i booked at indian palms resort, 1.5 miles from the venue, for $150/night a couple weeks ago for coachella(it's nice knowing the dates a little earlier). i guess now they have blocked out that weekend. hoping they don't try to mess with my reservation since i got such a good deal...we'll see!

We're staying at the Hampton Inn at Palm Desert---stayed there last year and loved it (drive wasn't bad at all). The year before that, stayed at The Spa Casino (hubby's in the casino business and got $50 rate). However, after the gambling, was way more than that!!
Had booked the weekend of 5/2-5/4 after last year, so was bummed they moved it up 1 week--had no chance at decent rates, as that was the original Coachella weekend dates. Oh well!!
Looking forward to the hearing about who's performing---hoping for Toby and Brad Paisley!!
Can't wait to see you all there!!

bump!!
With the new camping prices being announced last week, I'm sure you will not have any trouble selling this reservation. Most people will purchase their tickets first and then book a room.
