Kevin Costner Will Tour to Promote His Country Album

Actor-director Kevin Costner and the band, Modern West, will release a country album, Unknown Truths, on Nov. 11. Costner wrote or co-wrote all 12 tracks for the album to be released by Universal Republic/Universal Records South. The band's history dates back to the '80s when Costner met musician John Coinman during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. They began playing and writing music together and formed a band called Roving Boy. As Costner's acting career progressed, he was unable to devote as much time to the band, although he and several of the musicians continued to write and record music. Costner and Modern West will begin touring later this year to promote the album.

Pretty bad, huh? His single "All up to you" was recorded to celebrate the Tampa Rays' AL East title (I just threw up in my mouth).....and I wanted to see the Rays go far this October but if it means we are subjected to country Costner, well, that's more than I am willing to take for baseball's sake....

That is NOT Country! Sounds Rock...blues. I can see him sitting in a smokey tavern playing this, no hats in the room at all!
I love/adore/dream of Kevin...but not this way. I will say his voice is OK for that matter, but not "my gig". He needs to also dump the "ahhhhhs" in the song!
Ok...I am gonna go practice on my guitar...I do NOT want to sound like that! ahahaha
I found that on CMT websight and I had no clue as to how bad of a singer Kevin Costner is.
His singing career should be as successful as:
Eddie Murphy & Bruce Willis

My dad was frat bros with Kevin back at Cal State Fullerton. My dad should call him today and tell him to leave the country to the artists and get back to his AWESOME movies! =)

well if that's the case...between pee breaks and drink runs Kevin will need to play every other set for me.

Costner? Dances with mic? I see visions of 1 am at a kareoke bar with some drunk guy reciting words in a monotone voice trying to stay with the music. I think I'll stick with my Hasselhoff cd's.
