I purchased his CD yesterday and I really like it. I'm on my 3rd time now listening to it all the way through and it's good. It's pop country.

Just my opinion. Trying to catagorize music is very difficult thing to do since we all have a different ear/tastes.

He sounds like Darius Rucker. :D

So far my favorite song is track #2, All I Want. To me it's the most country song on the CD.

When I mean POP Country I mean he does not have a southern twang to his voice. It's country...

Somebody though made a HUGE (spelled correctly for Cooter...although seeing hugh in a bathing suit was pretty cool) mistake. When I downloaded the CD to I-tunes to copy on my seagate the genre said "rock" instead of "country"

I get that a lot on various cd's..wonder why? I go in and bulk change mine so I can play the correct genre when I want.

A lot of people are coming over to country, smart decision. I like his new song, I think it sounds good. As far as Jessica Simpson, eye candy, but Im not a fan. Kid Rock is starting the transition, and generally like his music. Wonder who else is coming next

Mark my words... Kid Rock will be at SC09. There was a comment in one of the newspaper articles Cooter posted, quoting the guy who puts SC and Coachella on... "watch for more country rock". I'm cool with that. I've heard really good things about the latest Kid Rock album...

I think Kid would be a great addition to SC09.....I'd much rather have country rock than country pop!!!

I have the Darius CD too. I'm liking it! Which is surprising because I was never a Hootie fan.

I wasn't a very big hootie fan either.

Last night I went to the Greek and guess who was wearing a cowboy hat? Robin Zander - lead singer of Cheap Trick...are they next?

I watched this rehearsal, check out his pants..they go up to his boobies.

I've been in music for a while. As far as cheap trick. I've never seen em live. One of the better guitar players I know loves their shows. He said you never know whats on the play list and they are always great. That says a lot about the caliber of musicians they are. As far as Sebastian Bach. That guy has one hell of a voice with an incredible range. He's also done phantom on broadway. I just don't know how it fits in country. He also seems to be a little unstable. He did that show with Ted Nugent too..

Hey, have you seen the video where Bach gets hit by the bottle by someone in the audience, he calls the guy out and then attacks him? Very funny, then Bach get arrested for it? Dang big hair bands! I will say, that the Big Hair bands are one of the genre's i never got into, right along side Rap!

i think sebastian rocked on gone country. he was 80% of the personality on that show too. just saw him at the gibson and RR's right, great voice and great range.

darius... really wanted to not like him since i hated hootie, but i gotta say i love that song. in desperate need of some new music so maybe i'll get the whole cd based on the review here. :p

Funny you say that.....Sebastien fell flat on his butt when he was opening for Poison in August. Like fell down completely. It was hilarious!!

I felt exactly like you Abra about Hootie. But I love the new song and I'm digging the CD. The song about drinking and dialing is pretty funny and appropriate for me. =)

Just saw the video this morning for the Sebastian Bach country diddy......Please, for the love of God and in the name of all that is holy...LOSE THE COWBOY HAT!! I have never seen a hat look like it literally wants to jump off the persons head!!! It just looks so WRONG on him!!! And he looks so uncomfortable in the video.....akward...

love sebastian but i kind of agree. it's a weird video. it sure feels lately like directors are driving THEIR visions rather than the artists' visions, or the sentiments of the song. it's like they have some vision in their head of a piece they wanna do and they're gonna shove it into whatever song they get contracted with. just IMHO
