Anyone been before? Have any suggestions on where to stay? What to do? I am extremely excited..just bought my tickets for 2009!!! :D Nashville here I come!!!:D Don't worry, I will still make it to Stagecoach....I may have to eat TopRamen to support my concert habit, but I will make it!! LOL!!!
I was only there for a day and we did a power tour. We stayed at Days Inn near the Opryland hotel, it was reasonable, clean and nothing fancy. I know the Opryland hotel has shuttle buses and that place was HUGH and looked expensive. That whole area was packed with hotels. I ate at my very first Bob Evans and it was pretty good. We did the opryland museum and it's free. We did a music bus day tour which included a couple of other museums and a tour of music row.
I think HillbillyRockStar, Horse and I can't remember who else has been to fanfest. Someday I hope to go.

I would stay close to everything going on....I would not pay the big charge at Opryland .I know others loved it.But it is overpriced and you never are in the room....(besides some of the rooms are so for out and not very good)
Spend your money having fun at all the different events going on ....
It will be so much fun and bring your camera.Unlike most venues this place is loaded with so many opportunity's to get great shots with your favorites and of them....

It is also coming for the first time to T.V and located somewhere here on the boards.Either in the thread on the event or news in country.
