I went to Borderline in Thousand Oaks last night and saw Mishavonna. You can check her out on my space.

She tried out for American Idol and the girl can really sing live. Stagecoach 09?

Probably Stagecoach 10...lol...we have a lot to do between now and then (a complete album, for example), but you never know. Here's keeping our fingers crossed.

Not sure who you heard on AI, but they never showed any of her audition. We were all a bit disappointed in that, as we will never know for ourselves what she did wrong in their eyes.

BTW, she is currently in North Carolina for a national christian singing competition. I spoke with her today, she sounds like she's having a blast. I'm sure she'll do well. As for the next season of AI? Well one never knows, does one?

I will say that I am honored to be playing bass for her until she gets her break. The girl is phenomonal.

Are you sure they never showed her, my hubby and I think she looks very familiar from the show..they way she stands and her personality is what I remember.

Hmm...could be thinking of someone else. Remember I AM Blonde..but hubby has not excuse with NO hair!! lol

Mishavonna can sing VERY well. Hopefully she will work on her Stage presence. She seems very uncomfortable when she is not singing. She could learn a TON by going to a Dolly concert and see how a true legend brings the audience in.

Of course this is coming from somebody who would pee her pants on stage and can't sing at ALL. :rolleyes:
