I went shopping today...

Well, this little piggy went to the market (OK Target) to buy Pledge, dusting stuff etc etc...then checked out Best Buy...that ALWAYS gets me in trouble.

But I had my son with me...I just had to tell him what Doug told me last night in bed (don't get any crazy ideas)...He say's "honey, I want to tell you something, but I think you are gonna think it is silly", what honey??? "well I want a Wii"

See Doug went to his sis's to visit his bro in law (only given two months to live) but while he was there he played Wii, golfed, boxed etc and he finally experienced something that the kids have been trying to tell him about for a year...but of course, being a fuddy duddy...he just wouldn't listen.

SOOOOO.....THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT Wii Wii Wii ALLLL THE WAY HOME!!!

Now, as you can guess, I went all out, my family room is re-arranged, table pushed out of the way...we are doing fitness tests..I am 35 yrs old in the fitness test. WHOOO HOOO..Clayton (my 14 yr old) is 72, and my JV and VAR Football player is 62, and my 19 yr old daughter is 42 hahahahaaaaa I am the YOUNGEST OF ALL, with back surgery and all!

Cant wait to see what Doug Tests at.

Doug bought ME one for xmas last year. We love it. I don't have alot of time to play with it, but I steal an hour here or there to play with the kids.

I also like you can download and play the old school Zelda games, I was awesome at those in my day.

My daughter kicks everyones behind in the sports games.

I want to get the game Smarty Pants it looks like fun.

we bought ours new years eve and have lots of fun with it. the wii fit balance board is really fun, with hula hoop and other balance games. Have lots of fun!!

I am just learning all the new stuff it has. I do want to check out the fitness one. We just bought mario kart and two steering wheels, also love the golf, but daughter says the tiger woods one is better. that will be next.

baseball is cool too! MUCH much more than I thought wii was all about.!

i have so much invested in every friggin guitar hero ever made (including the aerosmith edition that just released), AND rock band.... another $500 for a wii feels like it puts us in the "we spend all our money on video games" status. but i guess now with wii fit, i can use the justification that it's good exercise!! ; ) i'm sure it's just a matter of time..... maybe xmas this year. family gift.

Hey I have 5 kids...and we have everything you can imagine, pool table, fooseball, air hocky table (finally dumped that thing) every guitar hereo, nintendo, (actually a couple of them) etc etc...I only have really played the ATV MX unleashed, love the quads (maybe cuz I love to ride and watch my kids race em too), but I never used them. kids love and live for them. Now I see they have this for Wii whoo hoo!

But with this Wii, all of us actually play, even hubby, golf is one of our favorites, I am learning a lot just playing on the screen, now I gotta get in and try my bosses actual HUGE virtual one we have in our office!

I will admit I thought the Wii would be corney..well the graphics are not up to par, but otherwise it is a blast. I am wondering what the cooking cookup one is! hmmm flipping pans etc?
