Any Phil Stacey Fans?

I know everyone doesn't like American Idol, but you gotta admit those kids have some pipes!

I recently ran in to Phil Stacey, so I stopped him because I recognized him from the show...turns out he's a really down to earth guy. Family man, in the Navy, just a good guy.

So I decided to sample his album at the store...and I gotta say I love it. God mix of rock/country/pop. Any other fans out there?

They definately find some good talent. I agree he is good, I need to really listen to more of his stuff to know if it is my type of country. Like Carrie,,started of hot, and now I think she is going to pop, following Shania's path if you ask me. (ok I am ducking...)

Glad to hell that David Cook won though! The last two years of Idol were sad...

I am a die hard Idol fan.. that show is a great launching pad for new talent..didn't say great talent, but NEW talent....Carrie is going off on a different path I think, but look at the break so many of the idol contestants have gotten. Phil Stacey wasn't one of my favorites, and I'm still iffy on his song, but maybe his talent will emerge in time. He wouldn't have gotten the break were it not for Idol
