Wow was she great, and so young! I liked her performance much better than Carrie's. She has the star appeal in her, yet she seems genuine and not so Hollywood at the same time. I thought she was very entertaining and was really having fun and getting into it. She also seemed very humble, happy, and a little overwhelmed/stoked/flattered about performing for such a big crowd. I wasn't expecting much (everyone I had heard said she was just for teeny boppers) but I was very impressed. :D
You could see that she was nervous and scared in the beginning but finally relaxed and had a good time.
We are all going to be saying in 20 years...I saw Taylor after her first CD when she was only 18!

I remember seeing her open for George Strait a few years ago in Vegas. "Tim McGraw" had barely come out, but I was drawn to this girl. I loved her instantly! The guy we were with kept calling her his wife. She was great then and she is great now!

That guy was probably me. She's my wife. lol. As you know, I got to meet her and I almost fell backwards. She IS very humble and gracious to have the fans that she does. I loved her appearance and can't wait till she comes back down to S.D.!!

You're right, GSF, I was with you in Vegas 2 years before I met you. =) I'm so happy to hear how great of a person she is. She really does love her fans!

Had never heard of Taylor swift before. But what do I know. I am from Europe... But remember I noticed her at the show :) She had a good connection to the audience. :) She will be big!

Taylor Swift will be taking over MTV the week of June 16 as she shares her recent prom night and co-hosts the network’s popular series TRL.
MTV will document Taylor’s prom experience onthe special, Once Upon a Prom, Saturday, June 21, at 3 p.m. ET. Once Upon a Prom will follow Taylor as she takes a break from her busy schedule to attend the prom of a lucky Tuscaloosa, Ala., high school senior. In the 60-minute special, Taylor, who missed her own prom due to scheduling conflicts, takes a night out to join the senior class of Hillcrest High. Taylor will also have a stint on TRL, June 16–19, at 3 p.m. ET, co-hosting each day.

I have NO problem with that. Thats great! I DO have a problem with MTV... And I am happy for her because unlike most of the pop-tartlets kids listen to these days she has REAL TALENT and isn't over-sexualized...YET. The last few performances I have seen of hers (on TV and videos, not SC) have been a bit too much though...they need to work on her stage-presence (she seems nervous and can be really off key) and stop trying to make her look/act sexy.....just my $0.02

Wal-Mart To Release Exclusive Taylor Swift Cd/dvd Collection

Taylor Swift has teamed up with Wal-Mart to release an exclusive CD/DVD entitled "Beautiful Eyes." It's slated for release beginning July 15th. The CD includes the new song "Beautiful Eyes," an alternative version of "Should've Said No" and an acoustic version of "Teardrops On My Guitar."

What a blast for Taylor.....
Taylor Swift says she's having a blast co-hosting MTV's TRL all week. She writes on her MySpace page "It's pretty sweet, I'm kinda loving it." Today, she'll perform twice on the show. She says it's been crazy co-hosting, but she's getting more used to it. She says "my big problem is that I always forget the microphone different places." She says "I always put it down somewhere and then can't remember where it is. Then when we're about to go live, there's a lot of scrambling and running and finding the mic in random places."

Taylor Swift is nominated for a 2008 Teen Choice Award for Breakout Artist in the Music category.
The awards will be handed out in the Fox TV special, Teen Choice 2008, airing Monday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. ET. Yeah, she shouldn't be doing the MTV hosting thing, she's great. She needs to keep it country, and not get involved in TRL, MTV crap, or anything like that... not good. She's is a sweetheart though... love her.

I agree....don't go left field Taylor! Stay rooted!!
I don't think we have to worry about Taylor....everybody else wants to "become" country because we are very loyal fans and spend loads of money.

Gotta love me some Taylor Swift!! For the 5 1/2 min. I met her, she thought I was funny and couldn't stop laughing. [lol she's the best in my book]...that and she's pretty
Guess who made a surprise visit and performance at last night's Jonas Bros concert?.... Taylor Swift! I figure it's the little bit of good karma I get for giving up my TK tickets and getting my kids to the Jonas Bros concert. ; ) She was awesome. They were filming for a movie that's supposed to coming out in January, so she'll most likely be in it.

Taylor Swift is class of 2008. She's gotten her high school diploma. But while her peers donned caps and gowns to receive theirs, Swift got her diploma in the mail. Swift attended public school for 9th and 10th grade, but when her career began heating up, she switched to home schooling. Swift says "There's something really exciting about getting to live your dream and continue your education at the same time."
