And.. what you would do different next year....

I had a Sat and Sun ticket, I gave one to a friend for Sat and the Sun I WAS gonna walk to the entrance and sell or just give away, but started walking and went straight in, completely forgot to sell it...oh well.

Actually great marketing on Golden Voice's part. They doubled their attendance from last year...

Good post Disney...I'm curious too.

My friend almost had to cancel at the very last minute but was able to make it. I was in a panic to either give or sell the ticket. I would have hated to just throw it away. (VIP)

i wanna know the number of people in VIP concession area that had a RESERVED seat, versus GA people with a VIP wristband. supposedly, you couldn't purchase VIP separately. but we kept joking that VIP was more like EIP. that place was packed! i know ALL those people didn't have seats that they were just blowing off to sit in VIP grass. ...COOTER??? what's the deal? you know everything......

I don't think you'll ever get a correct answer to this one. I think more people were in the VIP area than GA? Sure did seem that way.

next year...i'll make sure every one buys their own tickets..so each person can waste their own if they want. we had several unused GA tickets...I will never get reimbursed for the tickets I bought...but before the event, I heard "I'll pay you back".....ha ha.... live and learn. also... i told everyone in my group about the camping wirstbands, but some STILL did not buy them in advance. they are on their own next year!!!

i think sometimes it's who ya know..
I think this and the movie industry is like that...
The stories I heard..
Yet a little to crazy in this room to share any I've found out....
You are probably right on the VIP band only.
Yet I know a good group of 16 or more comps all over the gold circle..
Yes this is politics my dear friend it's in every industry.

amen! i totally belive in karma!

i'm just one with a dream that true fans get to see their true loves. the thought of someone up in front that doesn't even care is kind of a bummer. i'd give my right arm to be up front.

Like I said in a Thank you post... Some awesome guy gave my daughter 2 tickets $195.00 each in reserved seating... She got to see the Eagles... I think that most might go back and see if they could find that same guy for other nights... But I raised my daughter right... She hoped that if the same guy had tickets for the other nights that they give them to different people each night... Heck she wanted to give her Eagles seats up to me and my husband... because she knows how much her daddy loves the Eagles... But this was her first concert, so we made her stay and enjoy the show..

I was sitting in the shade at the end and 3 cops were showing us all the tools on their belts. I kidded one about tasering a bull as he came out the gate and he told me about seeing a bull getting tasered during his training. He said it just fell down! :D

I still have a shiny new ED1 camping wristband for sale. :D
I didn't even try to sell it because they still had them for sale for less than I paid (with TicketBastard charges).

Next year I won't buy camping wristbands til I get there.

What is EIP? Is that the Artist Village area? I loved hanging out in there and getting free food & drinks. ;)

Those bulls are very well trained and NOT tasered. If you noticed they actually go back to their stall unless they are "used" to dress up the crowd.

Tasered animals will eventually attack and not be good for anything.

Did you see ANY of those bulls just fall down?

Those bulls were giving a show to all of us. Those 3 cops were giving a show to you.

Kymery

Rose, as I speek from experience, tasers are used, no not the type the cops carry, but they are long red rods and have a small amount of juice in them, they are used behind the chutes to move along the cattle when they bunch up. No they dont fall down, just enough to remind them to giddy up. I used to own one. My ex used to ride bulls, so I saw a lot and did work a lot behind the chutes.

Also bulls aren't trained, they just know to follow the heard, ever notice that if a bull is being stubborn about getting back into the pen, the pick up men let another one or two out and they finally get together and go to the "open" gate, in their eyes, an exit. They travel in packs, although it looks like they were trained, it is just their natural instinct to go to the opening. That cinch around their belly making them buck is more painfull/irritating than the tasers that are used, that is why they buck so much until that cinch is dropped.

I sold all my stuff. We ended up with 4 VIP wristbands, sold off the forum in 1 day. 2 GA tix for all 3 days. Sold off craigslist and met the guy at the PBR on Friday. Sold my 2 VIP reserved seats to the RV that pulled in next to us and made very good friends with them. Sold them for $1000, lost almost $300 but worth it for the friends we made. Tgcali posted the GA tix that the poeple who bought my tix on the forum for me on Thursday night and sold them by Friday morning and got about 3 more calls off Craigslist, could of sold 2-3 more sets. So all ended well for us. We had a blast and made some great friends.
