EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT WAY TO DO STUFF AND OTHER PEOPLS WAY IS WRONG YA WE KNOW THAT...
I HOPE THE EVENT STAFF READ OUR LEGITMATE CONCERS AND APPLY THEM NEXT YEAR
PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING REMEMBER THERE ARE 20-120 THOUSAND PEOPLE CONVERGING IN ONE AREA SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG.. THE DEGREE OF HOW BAD IT IS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND ADDRESS.
AND REMEMBER THE HIRED HELP WAS PROBABLY PAID MIN WAGE AVERAGE AGE OF WHAT 19-20 (4 OLD PEOPLE I SAW BROUGHT THAT AVERAGE UP A FEW YEARS ) AND THE TEMP 90+ OUT THERE SO WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN.
I THINK THE PROFESSIONALS ( THE REAL POILCE AND FIREMEN -YUMMY YUMMY)KEPT IT UNIFORM AND DID NOT SWEAR THE SMALL STUFF- ALCOHOL, MODED OF TRANSPORT..
HERE IT GOES MY CONCERNS
HIRE MORE PEOPLE OR BE STAFFED MORE ON THE OPENING DAYS THEN SACLE BACK WHEN NEEDED.
EDUCATE THE EVENT STAFF PROPERLY . HELL THE EVENT GOERS NEW MORE ABOU THE RULES AND REGS THEN THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE..
RV SPACES SHOULD BE LAID OUT, AND MARKED BETTER. BE UNIFORM, THE EARLY BIRDS SHOULD GET FIRST PICK TO SOME DEGREE, PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAVE SPOTS FOR THEIR FREINDS SHOWING UP LATE- SOME PEOPLE REALLY HAVE 95 JOBS
MORE TRASH BINS IN CAMPING AREAS
AISLE MARKING SO WE COULD READ THEM
ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS MORE RELIABLE.
INSIDE THE EVENT
MORE MARKED OR BETTER MARKED WALK WAYS FROM THE BIGGINING -- GREAT JOB ON SUNDAY THAT HELPED ALOT
MORE RESTROOM AREAS INSTEAD OF HAVING 3 AREAS OF 50 PITS MAYBE HAVE 5 AREA OF 30 PITS- GET IT
VIP AREAS ALWAYS AVAIL FOR PEOPLE WITH VIP WRISTBANDS NOT JUST AT CERTAIN TIMES- I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS WHEN I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT USE THE ONE AT THE MANE STAGE BUT HAD TO GO THE BEER GARDEN ONES
MORE TRASH CANS IN THE EVENT AREAS AND KEEP THEM INTHE SAME PLACE AT TIME I HAD TO SEARCH FOR THEM TO DISPOSE OF MY TRASH INSTAED OF THROWING IT ON THE GROUND LIKE LOTS OF PEOPLE..
MORE DRINKING FOUNTAINS AREAS YA I KNOW ITS LOGISTICAL BUT STILL IT CAN BE DONE
DONT ZIP TIE THE RES. SEATS
WOW THATS ALOT ILL STOP NOW
Just a few observations: We were in ED1, and observed the removal of approx 6 porta potties from the entrance gate, by the showers. It was easier to get to campground toilets instead of the ones in the venue. The campground really needed more. The campground layout/markings were poor. Staff who assisted with parking rigs on Wed. evening, were the same folks who came back on friday trying to get rigs to move? Sorry to the folks who had reservations and ended up in the tents, that sucks!! I guess having continuity would have been awesome. The rules for entrance/exit changed on who you asked, and when. Did notice an improvement of 'firelanes' thru the GA, big improvement over last year.

I totally second the more trash cans thing. We looked and had to chose b/t walking across 100+ people or putting it on the ground.
I missed the portas by the camping entrance.
The rv spots were not marked very well and one of the guys tried to put me w/ electricty even after I told him I didn't pay for electricty (yes I moved)
I didn't even know there were drinking fountains so I'm wishing for more of them next year.
My sister and I went to three venders looking for soda. We discovered they do NOT sell soda in the beer gardens. I wish they'd sell soda like they do the lemonade things.
OK OK I know I'll get slack on this one BUT.... I dont' drink beer and think if they allowed mixed drinks in the GA, they'd make more money. I had no problem getting my hands on mixed drinks but......... its the thought.
Security wasn't a problem. Bathrooms seemed to be cleaned often enough. Great experience overall!

Here would be my suggestions:
DEF more portos....they were WAY TOO FAR AWAY!! By the time you walk to them, wait in line, go, then walk all the way back to your spot you've been gone like 20-25 min! I like the previous idea of at least spreading them out!
When you say that EACH CAMPGROUND will have charging stations, and outlets for hair dryers etc please actually HAVE THEM!! Those of us in the tent forum had to walk all the way to ED1 to charge batteries/phones and use a hair dryer(I didn't but lots of girls brought theirs under the impression they could use them!!)
Please have shade tents in front of the shower trailers. Most mornings the shower line was 1.5hrs for the girls and you were stuck in the beating sun. It was brutal.
Maybe a better idea for segregating the camping areas would be based on curfew/noise level?? Most of the people I wanted to see were in ED2 and that was 3/4 of a mile walk one way! And I am sure the families and non-partiers weren't too fond of the mayhem that was Sat nit in the tent forum!! I liked last year where everyone was mostly together. I felt like outcasts in the tent area!!! That way people who don't want to be around the drinking and such can still enjoy the camping RV or tent while us partiers can suffer each other! LOL!!
Your right, I almost forgot about the whole electrical outlet in each camping area thing. We had to ask some neighbors to let us borrow electricity for a quickie blow-dry. Luckily we only had to wait for the shower once and that was Sun. and even then it was only maybe 15-20min

prob. a city/abc regulation rather than a gv decision.
1. The walkways this year thru the big grass were awesome! thank you! An additional walkway is needed from VIP/grass walkways to the entrance of the reserved seating area. The clear walkway dissipated into a sea of bodies. I couldn't even look above the crowd to see a sign, or the yellow security guy for which general direction to head.
2. VIP was more like EIP. That place was more packed than GA concession. And although I read that VIP could not be purchased separate from Reserved Seating, it must have been handed out left and right by connections.
3. So petty but it kept buggin me all weekend.... Can I be DJ in between sets next year? We heard the same 12 songs over and over in between sets. I would LOVE to come up with a "Stagecoach crowd pleaser" playlist to put on! Put me in coach!!!!:D
We could definitely see the process improvements over last year! Keep up the good work. Only 361 more days!

do not forget shuttlesssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!! we really could use some sort of shuttle systems for the walk to parking areas - it was a killer!!!!!!!!
Also, loved the mister set up too bad it was too high and too bad people were rude enough to keep pulling the hoses down even after watching the guy put them back up - come on folks have some respect for thingsssss let alone people!!

oh yeahhh - put the screens above the mustang banners on mane stage - that way umbrellas prolly wouldn't be a problem and we could all still see!!! - for them to say umbrellas were not allowed and then to sell them - duhhhhh!!!
Those umbrellas sure did shock me. We couldn't bring our own because it blocks other people's view. I'm like your right and how rude of somebody trying to stay out of the sun and get sunburned compared to people watching the concert and then.....I almost bought one but thought that it was really rude.

agree with 99% of the above...
Talk about ED 1 for now.....
50 amp electrical - not 30. The big rigs will pay for this. At 30 amps many needed to run their generators.
water and pump out people - fantastic
Should be a way to assign a spot like a seat - that's yours - not a race to get to the site. We had 2 rigs and were lucky early Friday AM to have spots side by side - by the middle of the day - impossible.
added feature: Bicycle rental
Thank you to the LA Times Sunday person delivering papers!
Spaces must have enough room for slide outs on two sides - we had to get creative in staggering our rigs with one neighbor.
What's with people taking 2 spaces - one for the rig one for the pool..??? I love it - but did they pay for the 2nd space. Happy to buy 2 - but not nice for those who got bumped out of ED 1
Police on horseback with lights and green/red beacons - great! Missed the photo op.

DO NOT leave the football stadium lights on ALL night in the Forum campground. I could use ear plugs to block out the parties, but I couldn't block out the light!
Enforce the rules concerning the different areas. People pay ALOT of money for Gold Circle/VIP, if you don't have the ticket you should not get in. Period.
Better kids section. What I mean is, everything there was geared toward real little ones. Some stuff for older kids would have been cool. Loved the Sound Garden!
A little more variety on food. And what was up with a Country Music festival that had no Iced Tea? I saw a sign for it, but they didn't actually have it!
I agree totally with spreading the bathrooms out!
I didn't even know there were drinking fountains.
The map of the festival showed designated smoking areas but for the life of me I couldn't find one. I really don't like to bother others with the smoking so I go out of my way to make sure I'm in the proper place. I was really uncomfortable with standing out in the open smoking and not knowing if I was allowed to be there or not. Plus I didn't have an ashtray so I had to put it out on the grass and then throw it away. I don't like to mess up the grass like that.
WORD on the smoking feedback. i was forever stamping out and searching for a trash can.

Interesting picture you have there. Ironically, the officer on the right is Officer Fox, whom-- at this moment is getting written up for various other infractions he partook in while at Stagecoach (one major one would be removing his uniform, hiding the bike then DRINKING.. then putting the uniform back on.. and taking off on the bike)...
No I'm not just saying that I happen to have a report in my hands!. If you know this officer and/or would like a contact name at the Indio Police Dept. please PM me.

The map said designated smoking area.
in the booklet it says "smoking lounge", nothing about designated smoking area. i've never been to any outdoor event where they had places that you had to be to smoke.
Hollywood Bowl now has designated smoking areas. You can't smoke in the city of Burbank outside unless your in a designated area. No smoking at Santa Monica pier. There is a town up in northern California where you can't smoke at all outside (can't remember the name).
It's becoming more prevalent that you can't smoke inside or outside anymore.

I am probably the only one who appreciates the no smoking in public places rule. If I don't want to smoke, I shouldn't have to be subjected to all the second hand smoke either. At least if it's in a controlled area, I can just avoid that area.

yes, it says smoking lounges, which is a marketing area for american spirit cigarettes. in no way did they expect people to actually go there to smoke, especially since the tent would barely fit 10 people in it comfortably.

I was frusterated because they kept changing the VIP access, and it was not obvious how to get to one place to another. I always felt like a herded cow, not like a VIP. First VIP bathrooms were open next to main stage, then they weren't then you had to battle through the crowd to the overcrowded VIP section. (If VIP tickets were only sold to people with reserved seats there wouldn't be crowds camping out in the VIP section to watch the show). Finally the opened a narrow gate through which VIP could go to the VIP area and Golden Circle to theirs, but it was a one way path for two way traffic. I was also in the back of my section and people from the other sections kept hopping over the seats.

I didn't even find the water fountain til sunday, I sure could have used it before with my empty water bottles. But when I tried it, it had no pressure, just a trickle, if you wanted to drink from it, you would have to lick the fountain. YUCK!
The bathrooms were kept surprisingly clean, and the trailer restrooms with the real toilets, soap, and toilet seat covers. Very Nice. There should be toilet seat covers in the out houses too though, even if most people never sit on that seat.
I liked the outhouse sinks with soap in the camping area, wish they had more than just the sanitizing soap inside the festival.
I hope that everyone that had issues with VIP makes serious official complaints to Golednvoice (i.e. a letter or e-mail). I work really hard and also saved up for my tix. I didn't want to sit in VIP because I think i'm speacial, but because this is a once a year treat to myself that I work my ass off for. I understand there are a lot of people and a lot of acts but if there going to charge $600-800 for VIP it's only fair that those people have clear cut access to VIP ammenities that they supposedly paid for. I know and saw plenty of people without VIP wristbands or tix sitting in VIP and it's just not acceptable. And even though Tim Mcgraw was not at his best when his set started it was a free for all into VIP- I guess with so many people coming and going security gave up , but thats who I REALLY looked forward to seeing only to have 5 or 6 bimbos(Ok i'll be nice "young ladies") come from now where and stand right in front of me.I had to keep asking them to move and they acted LIKE I was the one inconveinancing them! That really irritated me.

My husband and I were seated in the back row of Section 2. We spent a good portion of the show dodging people who didn't have tickets for that (or any) section jump back and forth into the empty seats in front of us. It was particularly bad on Friday, because there were a couple rows of empties that the Eagles had not sold out. What made this such a problem was I was in a wheelchair with a badly broken knee. A few people saw me as a sturdier option than the Stagecoach folding seats and actually used me to balance themselves as they climbed over the row of chairs. It was "easier" to squeeze by my chair than the zip-tied Stagecoach chairs. More than once, I had people close to falling into my lap. It was a real problem. The security people in our area were wonderful. They had their hands full trying to keep the isle behind me and the other handicapped folks clear, but more often than not, it was a losing battle.
Like many have suggested, Golden Voice / Stagecoach really does need to revamp their design for the VIP section next year to prevent it from turning into the free-for-all it did this past weekend. There were just too many people in there without seats looking to scam on empties. It went on all day, all night.
That said, my husband and I had a FANTASTIC time at the festival and have every intention of returning next year. We stayed at a local hotel, but it sounds as though the real "fun" was going on in the RV area. I regret not having stopped by to say hello to all you great people. We'll not make that mistake next year.

1. having to walk all the way around thru GA to get back to our VIP seats.
I also felt bad walking through the ppl in GA cus i had to pass up 3 exits to find the entrance.
2. At night One of our friends walked right into the low fence put up to make an entrance to VIP. Maybe put some lights on the fence.

Let me first begin by saying overall I had a wonderful weekend. With everything that follows I would put up with everything again if given a chance. I thought the ambiance and entertainment was FUNominal. It was a "Country Woodstock" and that was pretty cool.
So let me comment on common complaints that I am glad to see others noticed.
The bathrooms, although I was impressed how clean they were when I needed them usually even finding toilet paper. I absolutely agree they would have done better with 5 areas of 30. The one by the beer tent was huge! At least having so many meant you never had to wait. Even when it looked crowded it was only a few minutes. Tough to say whether it worked the way they were set up. Made you think. You made a "trip" to the bathroom.
Security was probably my biggest complaint. They were all very nice, but none of them could help. I heard "I can't leave my post" several times. Once directed to the "security" near the beer tent, I was told to find the boss "a big guy with a white shirt by the smoking area." Yes, I found the smoking area. I jump ahead so the guy I find is some scrawny looking short guy in his 40's. He sends this 60 something guy who I am not certain actually spoke English. Maybe he was just soft spoken, but I did not understand much. Although, I give him credit. He did eventually come to my problem, a few snotty teenage girls, and calmed the situation. He took a little help getting there. Trying to pawm me off to one of the "I can't leave my post" guys. They were funny too. Just really young college kids. They looked bored most of the time. The one in front of us played on his phone for the several hour shift. We eventually required more assistance as the evening progressed and were visited by the actual police officers who resolved all problems peacefully and calmly.
I praise the local police forces. There were absolutely visable yet there were very few for such a volume of people. They were easy going. We smelled alot of pot and it didn't seem to phase them. Good for them. Worry about the fights and controlling the masses. I do have to say they were doing alot of T&A looking. I had to laugh when I walked by them. I am a soccer mom who got away for the weekend. Some of these girls were hardly dressed. I don't blame them, but so obvious. Boys will be boys I guess. The cops seemed in good spirits and controlled the situation well. Nice job!!!
Now we did not camp and instead took the hotel route. We actually thought about the partying and decided we would rather just us share a bath and shower and it be quiet. We stayed at the Quality Inn, but noticed several smaller hotels had vacancies all nights. We slept well and had hot showers. Generally we slept in and arrived around 4pm.
Unfortunately, this lead to us having to travel in and out each day. We were in 3 different lots for all three days. They actually got better each day until we were really happy Sunday parking in lot 5!!! You know I would have paid anyone anything to have been transporting me back and forth. We caught the guys on the bikes once. We were happy for that. Thought that was a great idea. Even the people that live in the town to bring out their golf carts and make some serious money. Think we saw a few of them, but never when we needed them. That is one serious hike. Wouldn't be a bad walk, but since there is no "in and out" you are lugging everything to cover 3pm to 12am. It got cold so you needed other clothes, your chairs, blankets, and anything else to pass the hours. It was tough on the sand. We were thinking maybe even storage lockers, but not sure that would work. Great idea for these events.
The free tickets, paid GA tickets and VIP area. You know I paid $250 for my weekend ticket. I paid another $600 in hotel for the weekend. The kids we had trouble with "got their tickets free." You know we planned and spent alot of money for the weekend as did many others and instead we had kids telling me to "f-off" and "how they must be smarter because they got their tickets for free." All I could say was I left my teenager at home for a reason. She can't afford to be there and she didn't belong there. I am totally cool with the ticket prices although I would prefer most of the attendees had also paid for their tickets. Overall I paid far less than had a seen them individually. It gave me the opportunity to hear some great performers who I had never noticed. I think though I would have been upset if I had purchased VIP's at $800 a piece. I liked having my blanket. We played cards, walked around and always return to our stuff safe. The VIP's were stuck in chairs on top of each other in the blistering sun and doesn't appear they saw anymore than we did on the screens.
I thought the food set up was fine although more vendors with ice would have been nice. Got a mixed drink and before I left the beer tent it was hot. YUCK. There was a nice variety and so many made the lines easy. I didn't have a funnel cake though.
Loved the pathways on Sunday. Friday was a mess, Saturday improved and by Sunday it was nice not to have people walking on my blanket and likewise I did not have to keep apologizing as I found my seat.
Did anyone notice you could not buy future artist shirts? I actually thought that was cool. I went everyday and decided who I like enough to get a shirt.
The screens were my final issue. If they have been switched with the logo it would have been perfect. Anytime people were standing you had to bob back and forth or stand yourself. A little higher it would not have been a problem anywhere in the GA area.
Loved Fogarty and the Eagles. Not what I consider country, but love them just the same. That really made the weekend worth it to me and set the pace for the performers over the weekend. Lots of great names and lots of fun. Hope some of the suggestions make it to the ears that actually control. Its only the second year and I look forward to next year and seeing the improvements.

once again, there were no designated smoking areas.
Actually - there was a smokers lounge by the back beer gardens -
I don't smoke but my husband does and he spent quite a lot of time there - especially on Saturday because it was air conditioned and they gave away free cigarettes. Wether it only fit 10 people or not and wether it was sponsored by a cigarette company is not the point - they did have it....
I am one of those traditional EX=smokers who ca not stand the smell and although he still does, he respcts my decesion not to and our kids!
I think however they need more than 1 Smokers Lounge......with room for more than"10 people"

horse....for the last several days I've read your comments on the forum. You've spewed your venom, unnecessarily attacked other members posts, you've rambled on using poor grammar, and ongoing misspellings. I am now quite certain your strength is in written attacks, but that is cowardly. I for one have not met you but I did meet many of the forum members at Stagecoach. We all got along very well, had fun and will probably continue the friendships. You, too, my friend were included in our meet and greet.
I don't understand why you are mean, spiteful and vindictive. You've been asked repeatedly to curtail your unnecessary comments but you continue. Your attack on Kymery is unproductive and again, cowardly. I would really like to meet you, face to face and find out what your issue is. Are you willing? If so, PM me.
So many forum members have good hearts, fun spirit, and a genuine interest in country music. No one that I met last weekend had a vindictive motive. I cannot understand your persistent attack on members who have thoughts and feelings about their experience at Stagecoach. I do not understand why you single some members out....ie Kymery. Have you met her? Was there a genuine incident that occurred to justify your venomous attacks?
I am sick of reading your posts....they make no sense, and your grammar is awful. Please show some class and respect.

That's my point. I'm one of the very few people I know that smoke that care about not disturbing others. That's why I wanted to make sure I was in the correct place. I just couldn't find it!
I agree, I'm a smoker but am always conscious of all the non-smokers around me. I try especially to avoid smoking near children.
In an outdoor festival like SC, it's difficult to really have designated smoking areas and enforce them. I say, just be courteous to those around you, and it's all good. JUST DON'T LITTER YOUR BUTTS! It's super easy to just put it in a trash can, or if you don't find one, bring a small baggie to keep in your pocket and store the butts there till you spot a trash can....
Just some thoughts...

I have gone to Stagecoach the last 3 years and I have a complaint or two! First thing is that the "rules" depended on who you asked. It says no water to be brought in so Sat. I stashed a bottle in my backpack. When we went in we were told we could bring in 1 sealed bottle per person. So Sun. we brought in 1 bottle and were told we couldnt bring it in and had to throw it. Second, when there is 90 degree heat there needs to be more shade or a misting tent or someway to cool off. Thirdly, Sun. night I had the misfortune of losing my keys. I noticed this when I got to my car. So I start walking back in and was stopped Many times being told that I couldnt go in the concerts over, you have to go. I explained over and over that I lost my keys and could someone help me. I was told several different places to go to find "lost and found" but when I got there I was told it was somewhere else. I finally made my way back to where I thought I was sitting but by then all the landmarks (aisles) were gone and big trucks were vacuuming up all the mess. So I tried to get a ride from "staff" to my car or the lost and found, no way! Luckily my husband could bring me an extra set but they wouldnt let him in to bring them to me. Finally 1 guy took pity on me and took me to my husband so I could leave.

I have been coming the last three years. Last year was the worst year I had at stagecoach. Too many people, all trampling over your stuff, etc. Well this year was way better. Oh my gosh. There was no drama with other people. The moving of the mane stage was the smartest thing they could have done. The blocks to keep from ppl going over the lines was an awesome idea too. no fences and no caution tape, the stagecoach admin finally got it right! The beer garden wasn't as high security. I am glad I was trusted. I am 22 so I don't care if they i.d. me because I am legal but it is nice to not be hassled. The good bands started later so everyone had all day to get there and this way not everyone gets there at once and its a long ass line to get in. I am also happy they left some stuff out from Coachella such as the burning tree and the Ferris wheel. Weather was perfect. Minus the drama within my group of friends I had a great weekend. Now SC just needs to make it 3 days and not just 2.

My biggest complaint was the generators from our neighbors. Yes, I had one too, and yes,I did run it. But I didn't run it 24 hours a day. The exhaust from both neighbors ran right into my trailer, setting off the carbon monoxide detector. The only cure was to take the carbon monoxide detector out and cut the wires. Both neighbors were not at their trailers all day, yet had to run the generator. At times, the exhaust was really bad, had to get up and go somewhere for fresh air. It is a requirement at other venues (NASCAR infield camping) to have something to divert the exhaust out into the open, or straight up above the motorhomes/trailers.
The inconsistency of enforcing the rules. Friday, when we got our camping wristbands, we were told that we needed our ticket to get in. So, Saturday at the gate, we were told that our wristband is good for getting in. Sunday, different story, wristbands are not good for getting into the venue, needed the tickets?
Will I be back, absolutely!!! With that many people, it is impossible to have everyone happy all the time.
Loved the ID check carts coming thru the camp areas wristbanding people so we didn't have to wait in line inside the venue!! Loved watching all the drunks TRYING to roller skate on the roller skating rink in El Dorado 2. Had a great time meeting new people and making new friends.

Need more showers. Last year there were showers in ED2 and ED1. This year you had to walk all the way to ED1 to shower. The sold alot more ED2 spots this year, you think they would have spent alittle on showers. Other than that, very nice!

I've been going to SC every year and have always enjoyed myself. This time however was a different story. I don't necessarily blame Goldenvoice but I feel they could've done a bit more. Our huge group was sitting up by the fence--basically the closest you could get without being in the reserved area. There were no walkways, aisles or anything so everyone was trampling through and basically standing on top of us after we had been sitting there for hours. If there were more walkways I don't feel like this would've happened.
My other complaint was with the merchandise. I just wanted ANY women's shirt but I was told that they only went up to size L. Well, some of us are not small like that and would've loved a chance to my an XL souvenir.
The wristbands confused me. I went to exchange my ticket and they said since I wasn't going Sunday I didn't need a wristband. Then they told others in my group that they still had to have their tickets even with their wristband. What was the point?
The showers....ONE location for the bank of showers? I appreciate that there was a lot of them but everyone had to walk far to get to them. A few in each camping area might have been better.
I did like the guys coming through with the lemonade--it was my saving grace.

for my 3rd time going its still an amazing experience, but i have a few complaints this year, my biggest one getting through the gate on saturday perfect no problem at all. but sunday they were patting me up and down and others too bet got a feel in there if you know what i mean, it was very uncomfortable an officer ok but a volunteer thats a lil strange im just thankful it was a woman and not a guy. and for getting to go in the reserved too much security it was liek every 5 feet someone checking tickets and i thought they were a lil rude most of them and not friendly. but it wont stop me from next year, i would like to see a lil improvement on their people skills. also those wristbands i think were a terrible idea very tight especially if your arm/wrist swells ( i think a card or lanyard with seat and section would of worked just as well if not better.
the layout i didnt liek at all the food should of been in the middle all together. and the way they put the speaker on the field as i was walking through it was extremely delayed it wasnt as bad last year when all teh speakers were on the stage.
and for the main reason i went as always the artists were great i gotta admit im glad a few of the big names cancled because i wanted to watch a few on the small stages and im not sure i would of if the mane stage was in use, so i was able to see every one i wanted with teh exception of only half of merle haggard ...

also those wristbands i think were a terrible idea very tight especially if your arm/wrist swells ( i think a card or lanyard with seat and section would of worked just as well if not better.
but then think of the problems with people taking them off and passing them back out to bring friends up closer. you guys paid for the expensive seats, you should be glad that only those who paid for them got to enjoy them.

My biggest complaint is that I'm back home and not still in Indio.
My only complaint is with the VIP area. Our group between camping and tickets spent well over $4000 and had to wait in line to use the good bathrooms, get a drink, food, we couldn't get a spot in the shade because the area was covered with people who had a VIP wristband but no seat. It was even more annoying when I went to get a drink after Jason Aldean's performance and had a hard time getting back to my seat because people were blocking the enterence and not letting us through. Not to mention I was my own security kicking people out in front of me who didn't belong in there.

well.... my only complaint was the security... wth...they change thier minds every 5 seconds... witch is whatever.. but helloo... they had walkie talkies.. its called comunication! one min they were lettin cars to drop of stuff.. .next min thier not.. then they tried to say you cant bring in beer? we were totally frustraited!
then one major pain in the bitch (badge number 2016) even refused to let this old guy give insulin ( in a bag) to his diabetic wife on the other side of the fence! we even had to get indio police involved for that!
alot of security were pretty cool... when they didnt know the answers (witch was majority) they actually said... ya i really dont know... instead of sayin GET BACK ! IF U DONT LEAVE u will be in trouble..
i do understand that they deal with drunks on a majority basis... but that dosnt give em a right to be a dick....take a class its part of job to deal with certain situations..

i agree ... it seems like the security needed to be a little more informed to what was going on..
some of em were marines (the ones we met) and they were cool, we even invited them back to the site after work for a few beers.
i wonder if your 2016 security was the same big girl we had a run in with to. i think she just got confused and didnt know how to handle certain situations and didn't know how to answer everyone's questions. so she didn't want to deal with it.

Only a few things...someplace to wash our hands woulda been nice, other than the few nice portable restrooms available. Security, I understand they're dealing with a lot of people in a little space, get it together just a little bit more. Why if I have a wristband should I need my ticket stub as well to get back in? C'mon now guys, I almost lost it when I left to go meet up with a friend to give her the ticket I had for her then realized I had dropped my stub and security wouldn't let me back in despite having a wristband. I paid a lot of money to be there and shouldn't have to be interrogated for 30 mins to get back in. Otherwise, loved it...no kidding, great line-up, already planning the drive from Portland for next year.

Our group has attended Stagecoach the past two years and have enjoyed the line ups each year. Our only complaints I think have to do with providing information for and during the event:
Our biggest complaint is none of the employees working at the event know anything about the event. They are given instructions for there little 10x10 piece of dirt and that is all they know. I would believe that this is one of the largest concert events in the country and it would be nice if the people working the event could provide at least a little information so that we can all enjoy what the event has to offer.
Our other complaint is the line up...I know it is subject to change and we are okay with that. It's the fact that there is no information about what acts are being added or not showing up(other than what you find on the message board). It's only common courtesy to at least make an attempt to keep people informed. Whatever happened to Williams Riley? No announcement...nothing!

Compliments to all the great acts in the tents! It was nice to stay out of the sun, while having great fun! I'm definately coming back next year if they continue with the great line-ups!

No volunteers patted or searched anyone. Fact.
The enormous signage that is displayed prominently at the exit clearly states BOTH WRISTBAND AND TICKET are required for re-entry. Moreover, the dutiful and unappreciated volunteers at the wristband table informed each and every festival-goer that approached them with this clearly and concisely. Fact.
Maybe if festival-goers behaved a bit more civilised once they have consumed a can of beer, things could be run more smoothly.

Yes, sir. You probably more than likely were. And quite honestly, you should've been. Imagine if no one was patted down, and dangerous weapons were brought onto the festival grounds. Is that something you would enjoy seeing at your beloved Stagecoach? I wouldn't. The individual that patted you down was NOT a volunteer. That is what I meant.
I hope you enjoyed the festival, and that you're back next year. It was a blast for us.

dude..... if your implying that those who patted down all of us where not volunteers, i beg to differ.. these fricken people have no training and no proof of training on there job. they took things to a new level and i think they need to choose the people helping a little more wisely. all in all a great time and wouldnt miss it for the world.
by the way, i ask to see there credentials and certs of completing there training in being able to legally frisk an individual and they ignored it... fact is they were not qualified nor have the proper training and seriously took there position a little to serious

VIP for the Gold sucked the first day. They were shutting down the entrance and exit on me. The security told me that "too many people were using it" WELLLLLL DUHHH you were letting in anyone without a green wristband!! Are they color blind?? The lines were stupid in there too! Luckily Sunday they got their crap together and it was nice.
SHOWERS...WHO THE HELL thought that putting the showers in only one spot? Not even porta poties or showers by the ADA spots. The lines were just rediculous. They needed to go back to how they had them in past years.

I personally had a volunteer go to pat me down, I refused, I FIRMLY told him to not touch me. He just waved me through.
First day I brought a wristband and ticket. All 6 of us in my group were told if we had a wristband no need to have our ticket with us???? Sunday was a different story, had to have our ticket.
It's not right of you to classify all festival goers who have a beer to be uncivilized. I agree there were a lot of out of control people drinking, but not everyone who was drinking.
I gave the volunteers energy drinks, water and offered them food all day long for 3 days. I appreciate them very much, they have a rough job.
Maybe if the volunteers were more educated by the company in charge of the festival, things would go smoother. The inconsistency of rules and regulations was beyond crazy.

This was the second year coming to this event. Had a blast all weekend long, loved almost every second of it..
My big complaint though was in El Dorado 2. I waited all day long to get our RV pumped. The Gray tank was coming up thru the shower pan. Waited and waited then just released about a 1/4 of the tank on the grass then we all walked in to the show. I seen only one truck working in that section and the guy was just overwhelmed doing all that work solo. Why wouldn't they have more trucks in this section? It's only money they're losing out on. I seen plenty of water trucks though.

Last year was very easy going, drama free and very enjoyable. This year we decided to camp in El Dorado 2. We had issues left and right with gathering information from volunteers. Every one had their own rules! We thanked anyone who helped us, or even tried with rockstars, water and food. We had a security (non military) get physical with us when we tried to ask questions about the last minute parking lot for over flow. The SUPERVISOR (badge number 2016) became aggressive with me after I asked her politely to stop screaming in my face. (I only asked if the parking lot would be open to 3am or all night) She couldn't handle a simple question. Than another security walked up to my fiance (who is a federal police officer) and pushed his body up to him and said we needed to get out of there that it was NO LONGER an exit/entrance. (yeah they changed the rule in a second) Than to find out a mans wife was having a diabetic attack and they would not allow him to exit to get her insulin from the car which was 30 feet away. This was at the back gate of El Dorado 2. We quickly informed 2 volunteers who turned out to be Marines, who were able to help us, as well as report her unprofessionalism to high management. The police department was also contacted for her negulence of denying the aid to a person in distress. When we saw her the next day she began to make insulting comments as she represented ALL of security of the event. After our run around with ridiculous people, we only asked for help from the Military volunteers. They were wonderful. Some people who like to smoke in the middle of a crowd need to rethink their actions. At least walk to a more open space where others could better avoid you. By the way, it is illegal for security to pat a person down. Security are considered private persons and are not sworn. Yes we do not want weapons, but they were not searching for weapons, they were searching for alcohol. I witnessed a male security patting down women in ways that I felt were inappropriate. I smell a lawsuit. Even though our group felt the unorganization of this event, we enjoyed the concert to the best and pray that next year they GIT R DONE RIGHT!

I think the "VIP" area sucked a$$. It was so overrun by people with GA tix and a "VIP" wristband. There needs to be an area for reserved seating "VIP" like Gold Circle does. Just felt like a major pain in the a$$ and ripped for the $$$. Also thought it was kind of funny that you had to have a ticket to camp, yet nobody checked (that I know of). The ID carts were awesome. As always the right hand doesn't know what the left hands doing. Entirely way too many inconsistencies with "security". I asked one if he had a guard card and said "what's that?".

I don't remember exactly where I saw it, but aren't most of the volunteers people who got into Coachella for free? They were doing some program that if you volunteer for one, you got into the other for free. If that's the case, the volunteers don't give a crap and they already got what they wanted out of the deal. Why they even showed up is a mystery.

She was at a back gate with only a few people around and she was unable to control herself at the slightest question. We will be conitnuing our complain of her with the security company to be sure that she is either trained properly or passed on to an anger management class! lol. Want to talk about stress? I work with 24 - 3, 4 and 5 year old preschoolers 9 hours each day. Thats real stress! She is a joke and has given security a bad name.

So I don’t like to complain on these types of post because I just don’t think anyone who can change things will read it but I hope someone is.
1. The showers centrally located??? Common really….. I do not see a reason for this, as the campgrounds are spread farther and farther it would be nice to go back to what has worked for the past few years.
2. Wrist bands for anyone that walks up to the ticket exchange? We (campers) pay good money to camp and should benefit for our extra spent money (private entry…). Besides from a security standpoint (not saying anything happen or I don’t trust my country brothers) as an RV owner there is a respect for others property and knows we don’t want to loose the privilege for camping onsite by some jackass wearing a camping band and does something stupid. I hold myself and my friends staying with me to a higher standard.
3. There was a gate everyone lined up at before the ticket/searching booth this was not thought out. When the gate was opened people began to run for the ticket/search booth and a woman was stampeded. This area was overcrowded and unsupervised again this entrance should have only been for campers (like all the other years) and not for the people coming in from general parking.

I really don't have many complaints at all. I think the no wristbands for the camp areas was a FABULOUS idea! It didn't cause any problems that I saw, and everything went pretty smooth. The ONLY issue I think I had period was the overnight parking. We had people RVing with us who arrived Saturday morning and were told they couldn't park in the tow lot. So they had to park in day parking. On Sunday they were told they would be towed out of day parking, so they tried moving their cars to the tow lot, only to be refused. Then they tried driving into EDII and were told they could be escorted to get their things from the RV, but they would have to drive home. At 1am. Brilliant!
The security guard at the tow lot was a TOTAL RUDE PRICK! I drove up with a truck load of stuff to put in a friends car (we had a tow pass, I was helping everyong in our group load and unload) and they REFUSED to let me drive into the tow lot QUICKLY. Even though there were hundreds of spots open. Eventually on my 2nd trip the supervisor was wonderful and let us in for the whole 2 minutes we needed. He came and shook my hand and was very nice. But the guy out front was STILL yelling at us even thought the supervisor ok'd it. They REALLY REALLY need to work on the tow lot issue for next year. Otherwise, it was a BLAST! As for men patting down women....that is against the law. Period.

The main complaint for this year seems to be the attitude of the security personnel, and I couldn't agree more. They were rude and ignorant. We camped in ED1 and it felt like martial law had been established. The atmosphere was totally different from last year. I didn't drop $800 on a campsite so that I could experience what it's like to be a prison inmate. This just may have been our last year.

I agree with this completely security would tell You You could park Your car to off load gear@ a spot then 5 mins. later another guard would be telling You that You can't walk back in & they are calling a tow truck to tow cars. I spent from 830 to about 330 Saturday helping a friend get her stuff in & finding a place to park her car after off loading it not being sure if the car was going to be there the next day. Security told us that they were going to tow cars to lot 12 Sunday night so we had to lie to get her car in by RV even though there was plenty of space by then

We have been there all 4 years and are still shocked at the shower situation this year.
First off on Friday they didn't want to open them until 8pm even though people were lined up and waiting by 10 am. My husband found a supervisor and pointed this out to him. The supervisor just shrugged said he didn't care...showers would not open until 8pm and the people waiting in line could just continue to wait. WHAT?!?! Nice customer service. Needless to say enough people complained and showers were opened shortly thereafter.
Secondly...they showers were so far away. I don't understand why they all needed to be in one place. We always camp in ED1 and were amazed when we arrived at how far away the showers were.
Thirdly...nothing to do with the showers but it was the lack of information that the CSC event staff and volunteers had...when we asked about the farmers market...they looked confused. Fortunately we found it on our own. Great idea by the way
Fourth...we never did find the shuttle to Ralph's...every one we asked had a completely different place to find it...that is if they had even heard about there being a shuttle. We just rode our bikes directly to ralph's for ice each day. We peddled fast to keep it from melting :)
Overall we had a great weekend. Great neighbors as always.
We will be back again next weekend but hope by then someone trains the staff! Hard to believe after 4 years they still can't hire people that have a clue!

Stagecoach was great this year. My comments for improvement would be to have more food variety in the VIP area, Only 2 choices - pizza or bbq sandwiches with long lines for everything not worth the price I paid to be in VIP seating area.
If you paid a lot for a VIP ticket, it was so far to the bathroooms, when they had others right close to the stage but we weren't allowed to use them.
By the way, how do people get the closer seats. We bought our VIP tickets the first day they went on sale the last 3 years and still never get that close. Sec. 10 for first day sale doesnt' seem right. What is the secret????
On the good side, I thought the turn around of band time was great, not much wait and there was some great entertainment. Especially Keith Urban, Jason, Brooks and Aldean (Amazing) and Toby. Was a great time!

Overall we had an awesome time this year. This was our 4th and won't be our last...
Few issues
Security/Event Staff were completely useless for information. I too felt that just being on the member boards gave me more info than anyone that was put there to answer questions.
Shower Area. Unless you were there at 5am you had to wait at least an hour. And yes there should have been more pods of showers, possibly a grouping like that for every area.
General Store should have been called the random store. Was there anything but ice and water that anyone bought. I too asked about where the farmers market was and got the answer that there was no such place by many of the event staff.
VIP Concession Area-In my opinion if you don't have a ticket for a seat you should not have been there. I thought the whole point of paying all this money was to have a seat and an accessable area to go use the restroom and get food and drink. A suggestion, use the area from the past years where the VIP concessions were for VIP without seats and keep the one right by the stage for the people with seats.
Last but not least, the guy playing the rave tecno music till 4:10am on Saturday night. Granted I knew there was a 4:00am curfew in EDII and was prepared for it. But this rig was at least 20 rigs away and the walls on our rig were vibrating from the level of noise. Just wish the guy could have slightly turned it down when asked by the 100 or so people that were camped around him.
Okay that's all. By the way really enjoyed meeting some of the board members over the weekend and thanks again for the info over the years!!!!

Just fyi, we used the showers late Saturday night (1:30-ish) and it was E-M-P-T-Y. No wait, no line, no problem. I do agree, tho, that the "central showers" idea was not a great one.
I appreciated the volunteers that were walking around holding the sign that said something like "Do you have a question? I can help!" The ones I encountered actually *DID* have an answer for the questions I had!
The Kid's Zone was done well (Girl Scouts Rock!) and it was fun to have a place where WCKid got to do kid stuff (hay maze, animal corral, archery, face painting, hair coloring and GS Cookies for sale!)....and it was shaded and had a misting fan! The ferris wheel was a nice surprise and gave a gorgeous view of the venue and surrounding mountains.

Yeah at 1:30am unfortunately the shower was not going to happen, but your right they were empty then, a few in our group did head over.
I wish I would have seen the volunteers with the signs. I know alot of great peple volunteer there and I don't mean to sound negative about them, but they are only going to be able to answer questions as good as the info given to them.

I liked the shower trailers, but then again I can only compare them to the tent camping forum showers I dealt with last year where there was ONE shower trailer basically. Maybe I just liked that the trailers were so close to EDII. I only showered at like 11pm-midnight ish so there were no lines at all, but I refused to go in the morning because of the lines I heard about. I would definitely like to see a shower setup like that in EACH area!
I did meet a few very nice and helpful volunteers/security. Unfortunately the unfriendly, ill-informed ones outnumbered them.

ok, they really should actually have the day lots CLEARLY MARKED.
as well as arrows directing you where the lots ARE as you exit. thats my major complaint.
also, whomever the asshole was doing security or whatever stage right, audiance LEFT in the mustang stage that screamed pretty much through Victoria William's whole set trying to pick up some ugly chick in a bikini shouldve had his mouth sewing shut.
a t shirt that had the show acts on them.
making it ULTRA clear that you have GA tickets.
other than this, everything else was great. acts for the most part started on time. i want to bitch about acts over lapping. but, 3 stages at a festival, its the norm.
but yeah i thought the way everything at the festival was set up was VERY clear an concise, there was ALOT of water booths which was good. alot of toilets whih was good.
i found the festival from a goer standpoint was run very well.

Get your rules right, for one thing. One guy says you cannot have a grill, the next says it is okay. The site says you cannot have gas grills, but everyone had them. The site said no dogs, but they were walking all over the place. No alcohol, ditto. Some security wanted to confiscate our cooler of beer until we made them call a manager. What a bunch of morons. Not enough to ruin my time though, pety complaints compared to my overall experience, it was great.
I don't agree with saving spots. If anything they should do that with the FAR rows because it is difficult to coordinate. They lined up ED2 first come first serve, so I didn't see how arriving early was a penalty.
Overall, good work with how many people were there!

my gf made a huge point of this after she saw 3 on sat and 3 on sunday. not that she WOULDVE brought her dog since we were at a hotel and driving back and forth, BUT, you are 100% spot on... if you say "NO DOGS" you shouldnt allow ANY DOGS. not SOME dogs allowed.... make it either ALL or NONE.

Most of my complaints already mentioned by others.
Better organization of having smaller designated walking aisles would be great - especially toward the front - did not like getting trampled! We didn't have the problem further back on Sunday - but would probably not be a bad idea to have a few aisles designated further back as well.
+1 for more variety of sizes in the ladies' shirts.
+1 complaint for inconsistent rules. I parked in the tow lot (4) late Thursday night. I gave someone a ride somewhere off venue property late Sunday night/Monday morning. Because of other parking issues people in our group had (that Chev mentioned) - I asked when I left the lot if I would have any trouble getting back in - that I was still camping. They asked where my parking pass was (I saw several "4" passes in cars) - I didn't get one... Thankfully I had talked to a lady that was a supervisor as well, so I mentioned that and they said I should be fine. They still gave me a bit of trouble when I returned though.
Basically - if you're going to distribute parking passes for a certain lot - give them to everyone!
I didn't understand the point of the wristbands if you needed your ticket as well (I understand there might be fraud ones, but there are fraud tickets too!)
The showers happened to be fairly close to where we were in ED2 - but I didn't understand them being centralized either. They were SUPER far from those who were parked in ED1 ADA!!! Made no sense.
But even with all that - still had a damn good time. :)

I have been to stagecoach all four years and have camped in the tents all four years, this was my last year at least for camping because it was a horrible experience. I understand that this is a "party" weekend but some people just have no consideration for others, I had people running all over my area and falling into my tent while i was trying to sleep; when they finally turned off the lights at probably 4am didnt stop people from being loud. I ended up driving an hour in a half home so I can get some sleep on saturday night.
I dont understand the rule about having to have a festival ticket to camp when I checked in they did not even ask for my ticket; so I came across lots of people that did not have festival tickets and were just hanging out in the camping area. I think I like the way camping was the last few years having it where anyone could come was just way to crazy.
My only complaint for the festival was that they were not allowing us to bring in our own bottle water. I dont understand why they wouldnt allow us except that they wanted us to buy water from them, but that was probably the only thing that really bothered me and if they are going to do that, thats fine but just inform us that they are not going to let in bottle water. I know that it says no outside food or drinks but every other year they let in water. So, I was not expecting this change and it throw me way off on my budget at $2 bottle when I went and bought 5 cases of bottle water at $4 per case.
On the up side i think pretty much all the acts were great on the mane stage! I loved sugarland, wished I would of budgeted for VIP tickets to see them and Brooks and Dunn!

:)
That was a HUGE complaint for us in ADA, not even close outhouses! Two of my roomies used the showers, but I couldn't/wouldn't walk that far, and then of course I ran out of water from showering in mine, and then couldnt get a refill.
That was a HUGE HUGE HUGE error on SC part, put some showers on each end. The girls were dirty again by the time they hiked back to the rig.
Also, mind you that ADA does not have hook ups and thats ok, but people have got to understand that there are HANDICAPPED people in ADA and they need to run their generators more often without the neighbors threatening you!!
My poor friends were harrassed by their neighbors. She had to charge her scooter, and run equipment, medically. Ok, they have an outside generator, but get over it!! When the genie was turned off at night, it was louder from the screaming chicks partying till 4am! Sorry your baby could't sleep, really, from a generator???
They had to actually move, due to these people rallied their neighbors and harrassed, YES harrassed them enough to finally get security to finally find another spot.

*Takes deep breath. Here goes.
The security in the forum camping was ok. Uninformed, but in my experience, nice. I actually bailed one out that was getting yelled at about the showers. Told the lady that was yelling at him that there was nothing he could do.
Now, with that being said. The security at the venue gates and parking = craptards. The first day, I forgot that I had my pocket-knife still in my pocket (which he didn't find). However, as I was being frisked the other security guy was asking to see my tickets. The frisker, was feeling my playing cards in my pocket and was asking what is this at the same time the other a-hole is yelling about showing my tickets. So I reach down to retrieve my tickets. The guy patting me down grabbed my hand and told me to keep my hands up. Ooooooh, it's on. I pushed his hand away, and told him not to touch me again. So, not only did I get in with my pocket-knife, but he managed to perform unprofessionally and like a jerk.
Next year, i'm not reading the rules online. I followed the rules and had a less than stellar time as I watched all my neighbors cooking with stoves and I even saw two full sized bbqs in the forum camping (quote from rules section: "May I use a stove to cook?
The use of a outdoor cooking appliance is not permitted anywhere on the festival site. RV's may use their factory installed interior cooking appliance.)
Hell, I would have liked to cook instead of paying for the $10 hamburger from the roach coach parked in forum camping. I did bring a propane heater that was really needed on thurs night and was allowed to bring that in (even though the rules don't allow it).

dude..... if your implying that those who patted down all of us where not volunteers, i beg to differ.. these fricken people have no training and no proof of training on there job. they took things to a new level and i think they need to choose the people helping a little more wisely. all in all a great time and wouldnt miss it for the world.
by the way, i ask to see there credentials and certs of completing there training in being able to legally frisk an individual and they ignored it... fact is they were not qualified nor have the proper training and seriously took there position a little to serious
I am not saying a single thing about the competence (or inversely, incompetence) of the individuals searching festival-goers. I am in no position to speak on that. I am saying that they were NOT volunteers, as in W.E.T. VOLUNTEERS, as in if you don't comprehend the words that I am typing, let's leave it that. Enjoy the festival next year.
DeltaSigChi4....you first stated that NO ONE was patted down and it was a fact, then you stated that more than likely you were. This is one of the major problems that people have. Either treat EVERYBODY the same or stop it altogether
Do me a big one and quote EXACTLY where I stated that "NO ONE was patted down and it was a fact" and then that "more than likely you were". Please do that. Thanks.
I'd rely on the facts of the exact protocol that was in place at the entrances and not on anecdotal histories of what the protocol was. I won't enter into a debate regarding this matter. Empirical evidence or quite simply it didn't happen. The signage leaving the festival grounds clearly stated that both a wristband and ticket were required for re-entry. It's not that complicated.
You're grossly misinformed.
I am still LMAO at the girl at the gate who had no CLUE what she was doing and kept trying to scan my wristband. She was gettin worried cuz it wouldn't scan, even though I HAD my ticket as well!
Coachella's wristbands were scanned. And the Stagecoach re-entry wristbands were of the exact kind, with the chip underneath to be able to be read with the special scanner. Definitely confused, but not completely out of this world error to be making. At least she cared enough to try to do her particular job/function correct.
I didn't understand the point of the wristbands if you needed your ticket as well (I understand there might be fraud ones, but there are fraud tickets too!)
If you can counterfeit both the wristband, and a Ticketmaster® ticket (that actually scans), then you should be elsewhere utilising your talents for a lot more personal gain. I don't understand the point of needlessly complaining about something that is meant to keep the festival grounds less crowded and off-limited to individuals that have no right to be there (non-pass purchasers). Enjoy the festival next year.

As I was leaving VIP after Toby Keith with my chair and the guy's next to me who left early and didn't want it, Security said I could only leave VIP with ONE chair.
To my left was a dude with FOUR chairs on his shoulder as the Security Nazi was giving me this load of crap. He cruised right by, while I was forced to give up one of the chairs.
This was never a rule in the past years I've attended. I'm an original Stagecoacher, since 07, and always have had VIP seating. This so-called rule was never posted and no notice of it was given to us before the festival. It was total BULLSHIT carried out by the Security Nazis.

For the grossly misinformed comment - she just questioned it because that's what she heard - she also said "if that's true." She didn't say it was true. And there's a nicer way to say that she got the wrong info.
For the wristband scanning attempt - how the heck was she supposed to know Coachella wristbands had chips in there if she didn't GO to Coachella? She simply commented on the fact that she thought it was funny that it was trying to be scanned. Does look quite dumb if one didn't KNOW that they made wristbands that look the same but COULD be scanned.
And I wasn't complaining about the ticket/wristband thing - I said I didn't understand it. More security makes sense. But if I WAS complianing about it - this is a thread FOR that - for us to vent. So I will complain now - if they think that having wristbands AND your tickets help with security - then they should keep it consistent. Have wristbands for those who have one day tickets as well as both days.
Wow. I think they carry tools at Home Depot that can help remove that stick from your ass.

The thing that I would have liked to see was designated motorcycle parking. The carpool thing is great but on a bike they would not allow any of us into a closer lot. I parked out in lot 2 and hiked through lot 5 where I counted 20 to 25 spots that could have handled bikes, (some were big enough for cars). There were not many of us but if it was discussed like the carpool thing and encouraged, maybe more people would ride. I spent six hours getting the dust and dirt off the bike from the dirt lot, if there was a designated area for the bike riders away from the car traffic it would be nice. Just a thought.

honestly, no matter where you park around there it will be covered in dust.
that is why you never wash your car before SC...the dirtier the better cause it's just going to get worse. Tomorrow I'm finally going to take my car to the car wash and will get more than my monies worth.

You can't just read. You have to read sci-fi/fantasy. LOL. Don't forget the Holy Trinity of Geekdom ~ LOTR, D&D and Star Wars.
Name the quote:
(No cheating!) We'll start off easy....
1. “Three rings for the Elven kings under the sky, seven for the Dwarf lords in their halls of stone, nine for the mortal men doomed to die, one for the Dark Lord on his dark throne, in the land of Mordor where the shadows lie. One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring the bring them all, and in the darkness bind them. In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.”
2. “Five card stud, nothing wild. And the sky’s the limit”
3. “If you can’t take a little bloody nose, maybe you oughta go back home and crawl under your bed. It’s not safe out here. It’s wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross; but it’s not for the timid.”
4. “We’re all very different people. We’re not Watusi. We’re not Spartans. We’re Americans, with a capital ‘A’, huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We’re the underdog.”
5. “This is the way society functions. Aren’t you a part of society?”
6. “Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.”
7. “The Road goes ever on and on/Down from the door where it began/Now far ahead the Road has gone/And I must follow, if I can/Pursuing it with eager feet/Until it joins some larger way/Where many paths and errands meet/And whither then? I cannot say.”
8. “Don’t call me a mindless philosopher, you overweight blob of grease!”
9. “There is no Earthly way of knowing… which direction we are going. There is no knowing where we’re rowing, or which way the river’s flowing. Is it raining? Is it snowing? Is a hurricane a’blowing? Not a speck of light is showing so the danger much be growing. Are the fires of hell a’glowing? Is the grisly reaper mowing? YES! The danger must be growing for the rowers keep on rowing AND THEY’RE CERTAINLY NOT SHOWING ANY SIGNS THAT THEY ARE SLOWING!!”

This was a pm I got from Cuntryfk in response to my earlier comment above...
YEAH we were in the "Techno" trailer and what of it? The rules clearly state that we could party till 4 in the morning. Maybe you were just jealous because we had all the hot stripper chicks. If you are too old to take the noise look around the area for "senior" camp grounds. There is nothing worse than trying to party and some old people keep bugging you to turn the music down.
This guy joins the forum just to say this... Not looking to make any friends here I guess!

What is the deal with the camping passes always selling out. I can't believe they are sold out already!!! For the last 2 years they have sold out and once we were there after having to pay double for a camping pass from a scalper there were always LEFT OVER camping spots. Either sell the tickets a different way to prevent scalpers from buying them all or sell the same amount of tickets as there are spots.
If possible can more camping passes please be released?? Other than that, we love everything else!!!
We love Stagecoach!!!!
