I THOUGHT THEIR PERFROMANCE SUCKED. WE LEFT EARLY DURING ONE OF THIER SONGS AND BY THE TIME WE GOT TO THE RV IT WAS STILL PLAYING WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT

THE VOCALS WERE TERRIBLE I HAD MY EARPLUGS IN AND IT WAS STILL SOUNDED WHINNY.
I THOUGHT WE WERE AT STAGECOACH AND NOT LAS VEGAS OR ROCK CONCERT (DONT GET ME GOING BUCKY). LEAVE THAT SHOWY STUFF AND JUST SING YOUR SONGS AND PLAY YOUR MUSIC.

Everybody has said that they can't sing live and I was waiting for that but I have to disagree from this performance. They were on point....at least for this night. I got a video from my new camera on the fiddler rift and it was off the hook.

I adore Rascal Flatts, 4th time I've seen them in concert and have all of their CD's which I've practically worn out. They were my favs of the weekend!

Had never seen them in concert before and didn't have very high expectations because of the posts......but they were actually quite a surprise for me. Thought they put on a really good show with lots of variety.

Didn't mind it at all......

I was the mom of the 4 beautiful daughters on the big screen all weekend! And one handsome too! It was the most incredible weekend of our lives! Eldorado 1 was rocking with our friends who had the dancin going on all weekend!

Interesting how different opinions can be. I saw them at Staples Center and out in Irvine, and they were very good. The lead singer has a higher octave voice, so I can see how they might be construed as 'whiney' to some. They definitely don't possess the rough gravely Trace Adkins type voice. It all comes down to preference. Maybe we can say 'not my thing' as a better term than 'sucked'. LOL There's a really big difference between the two. Some artists just downright 'SUCK' live without the studio asissted air brushing. ;)

Actually I saw it in EXC's post to start things. You might have been thinking it though. ;) I can see how that description would apply when he really gets up there in that range. Like their ballads most, but overall they aren't my favs.

I've never seen either of these artists in person or live because I can't stand to hear either one of them sing on TV or Radio.

Jessica Simpson - over sings EVERYTHING
Sister Ashley - just can't sing - needs all the studio help she can get.

I'm just saying. I can't sing either, but it's not something I get paid to do.

Agreed. Preference, preference, preference. There are many artists that so obviously need the help and suck live. Brittany Spears (sorry to pick on you) probably couldn't sing live if her life depended on it. Quite frankly some can't even lip sync to save themselves.

It was my first time seeing them, and although they aren't my favorite group, I thought they were the best of the Last show headliners. I thought they had a great stage presence, interacted with the crowd well, and were overall great entertainers, I was pretty impressed with them! I couldn't critique their singing as I cant drop a note but I thought they were good enough!

Why do you have to be the only one on this board who literally attacks other members? And for someone who always moans about "going off topic" insulting others is DEFINITELY OFF TOPIC. Everything was fine until you started up again with your not-so-subtle barbs at specific members. It is quite possibly the most juvenile tactic around, and we have all been ignoring you for a while if you haven't noticed. But this is how it all started last time and we got threads shut down so just stop it. I really don't want to have to avoid the boards again...

Rose, yes one board was closed due to her antics.

Good post Honkytonk

She has been warned, but yet she continues. Ignore is a good idea, but I see it this way: She can sit there and attack over and over and over and who wants to read that? Newbies, old members and the like should not have to read her attitude towards anyone at all. I am tired of her conceitedness, talking about her imported wine glasses, her indian friends, her associates, her house she should of bought, her tanning deck, her pool, her insults to mommies pics, etc etc...

So, should we put up a "sticky" for all the newbies that reads:

"PUT YOUR IGNORE ON HORSE$%&^"

Yes we have all ignored her, acting like we dont see her posts, but apparently that is not stopping her, yet she pulls up old posts and adds the stupidest remarks on them..such as the one where she is the only one even on that post and says "its nice to see positive in here" or something like that. She is playing a game no one wants to play. Her post after post after post on the same thread is monontonous(sp?). I have ignored her for a week but when she comes on and says that some people on here are boring and think we are better than the entertainers at Stagecoach is uncalled for. She is just JEALOUS!!! That is all it is.

KuntryGal
06-04-2008, 03:56 PM
I for one have tried my hardest to ignore the threats and barb and attacks that Horse throws out - all the time...supposedly all in fun and games...but these "games" she play are hurtful and spiteful and uncalled for.

Several people stopped coming on the board for a long time now and others just barely are getting back on after a long time away and yet still are the new people who will have to try to understand why this is all going on.

I also know we were all told if it didn't stop than everyone would be banned and or the entIre board shut down.

It's time to stop already.
If you don't have something nice to say - JUST DON'T SAY IT!!!!
Is that so hard to do????
and even if it's cuz you don't like a person - just keep it to yourself....
THANK YOU

Rose

People are going to offend others on message boards because we all have different opinions and ideas. I take what I like and leave the rest.

Unfortunately you are right about the dream world...:(

The problem I have is when someone makes a direct and deliberate insult/attack on other members. Especially when it was not provoked. It really has no place here. That's what the jr high schoolyard is for.

Well honkytonkangel, I applaud your post. You have captured the essence of what MANY of us already knew and felt. You have clearly said what MANY of have been wanting to say. I, for one, have tried to ignore the posts of horse, and moved to other threads. I find that she will monopolize many threads to get the final word... or the final blow. EXACTLY...there was NO provoking, we all moved on, haveing such a good time, and she threw her attacks out of the blue. I am tired of it and I know that others are too.

She is the pot calling the kettle black! Of all my years, time on boars, I have never seen anyone with such nerve to directly attack someone they don't even know. How or why anyone would want to be that way is beyond me.....lonely I guess.

By the way, ignore only works IF you use it. Horse uses it on me (or so she says) yet she still throws her barbs at me?? Go figure...She just can't resist can she?

I agree honkytonk and festival!! I haven't been posting much anymore for fear of being attacked. But I still want to keep in touch with friends I've made! Hopefully, with all these admissions from members that they fear attacks from Horse$^#@ that Countrygurl will realize that IT IS HURTING THIS BOARD!!!!!!!!

This board wants to thrive, not attack others. We all agree that we all see the world different and NO ONE except Horse allows that. If she hates me or any others, then she needs to continue to ignore me, not comment about me or others, and stop posting Inquirer crap.

She has been warned, maybe Countrygurl will finally bann her, but I know she has lurkers and probably will find a way to hide under another name.

Kymery, you are correct that Horse has not attacked me directly.

I met Horse and her husband at Neils the night before Stagecoach started and we all had a GREAT time.

I'm hoping to meet all of you at different concerts, etc during the year and worse case I will see you at Stagecoach 3.

I'm not taking sides and I don't condone anyone saying mean and hateful things to each other. It's not right, we are all adults and should act accordingly.

At first I was not to happy when Cooter told me "that I made the dumbest comment on this board that he had heard all day" That's a personal attack but I had to think to myself that maybe I made him laugh a little and I need that myself EVERYDAY.

Rose, Thank you!! Yes Cooter got a bit out of hand, and has been such an awesome person lately! And yes I think he was laughing as he said that...

He is a great member of the board...yes he speaks his mind, but he does not attack every day in every comment. I know you are not taking sides, I know you met her in person and in doing so that makes it a bit harder to see the light. But I won't stand for her attacking anyone, whether I met them in person or not! I never met you and I would never let her attack you! What is worse, she has never met me, she offered to, but it did not work out, and yet she has the nerve to attack me. Go figure...that to me is insecurity at it's best.

It is almost that I feel sorry for her...being that way, Always on the attack, and then bragging about everything...that really gets to me! We are all equal on here, and in life, she has no right to attack OR brag!

Catching her and her sister in a bold face lie...well that did it for me, even had I met her in person, I would of been embarrased to say so (no saying you should, just me) I would of had to tell her that she is not worthy of knowing at all. How can you trust or even like a person who is like that?

Rose you are a great person, your posts are enlightening, and happy! I love that about you, don't forget that! Thank you for being honest!!

I doubt that anyone is on horses ignore list... she reads everything...give it time she'll respond with a another boring one liner with what she calls happy positive thoughts..She is very much isolated, without her own network of friends. many of us have met, established a bond that will most likely continue. Even those of us who have not met, yet, have maintained the connection, knowing there is a foundation for a future friendship. I can only imagine horse is feeling inadequate, and unwelcomed.
I want to address those members who may feel fearful of posting.. do not hesitate to join, add, and contribute to this forum. There are great people, caring folks, with a love of country music and entertainment. If anyone, a newbie or a senior member is unfairly or unjustly attacked on this forum.. I can assure you, someone will come to your defense.
Oh, and I'm not worried about horse reading this post.. she has me on ignore.

Why thank you!!! You're not so bad yourself!! (contrary to others beliefs!) I think it's great that you have supplied more information about Rascal Flats and what is currently going on with them!!! Haven't seen much of Disney on here either! DISNEY!!!! Where are you! She is always so nice and polite, even if she doesn't agree with everyone. Keep the info coming Horsephotographer!

Good to see ya in the room Jenmonkee....

Gosh,

Who in the heck has defended me on these boards? Me, Myself and I. Even recently Horse has said she likes Jewel and I opposed her all in good gest. I have been UNFAIRLY attacked on this forum...are you sticking up for me no matter what I say or how I say it. I welcome everybody coming to my defense but I have yet to see it. I'm a big girl and can stick up for myself. Maybe it's time for me to back away and find myself my own 12 step program. I'm addicted so I don't know if I can do it but I will give it a try.

Where are you Cooter when you are needed. I know busy being a family man and all. Good luck and god speed with your first.

Take care

I hate to break it to you kym you started this!!! Horse simply put information out there RELATED to Rascal Flats and YOU made a smart A** remark back!!! And your little buddies backed you up! and the second horse responds you get all high and mighty like you would NEVER do that! I thought this crap had ended but apparently you just can't let it go!

Jen, lets back up a second. Here is the post HORSE made FIRST....and I defended it asking NICELY for her to stop insulting the board members! SHE STARTED HER SHIT AGAIN!!!

"Amen sister....
Are you kidding.....
most of this place is way worse and so boring they think we really care about there drama lives as if they are some kind of special person more then the country singers this site is about....

See anything of real good news is hard for the ones in dark to see....lol
Cheers...... "

SO...there for, she ranted on and kept insulting. I then will admit I made the Inquirer remark, IF SHE HAS ME ON IGNORE, then she would NOT of made her next remark about something "squeeking"!

Jen...again I don't know you either, but just don't get how you can defend such a rude, cruel, stabbing, insulting, insecure, bragging type of a person...Oh, unless you are her other sister?? Can't you see that? It is apparent that 99% of the members active on this board see this about her. Now others are stepping up, not taking the insults.

And Jen, why are you insulting too? Why call peoples friends their "little buddies"? These are nice people who all met with one thing in common...Stagecoach! I bet you a million, had you met up with all of us..over 50!!...you would not be how you are in these posts. We are all different walks of life but we also all got along and have continued to do so. WHY IS THAT A BAD THING AND SOMETHING TO INSULT?

An then Honkytonk did NOTHING to provoke any insult, yet horse attacked her!! Can you explain that one?

Hey girl...I think you don't ever need backing! Yeah Cooter said something abrupt..you had fun with it and handled it well. You are NEVER attacked in anyway! (unless I missed another post.lol) Take that as a big compliment. But IF horse or anyone had...you know each and everyone of us would step up for you.

I was sitting on a bar stool
In a barbecue joint in Tennessee
When this old boy walked in
And he sat right down next to me
I could tell he'd been through some hard times
There were tearstains on his old shirt
And he said you wanna know what you get
When you play a country song backwards

You get your house back
You get your dog back
You get your best friend Jack back
You get your truck back
You get your hair back
You get your first and second wives back
Your front porch swing
Your pretty little thing
Your bling bling bling and a diamond ring
Your get your farm with a barn and a boat and the harley
First nite in jail with Charlie
Sounds a little crazy, a little scattered and absurd
That's what you get when you play a country song backwards
Well I never heard it said quite like that
It hit me in the face cause that's where Im at
I almost fell flat out on the floor
He said wait a minute that's not all theres even more

You get your mind back
And your nerves back
Your first heart attack back
You get your pride back
You get your life back
You get your first real love back
You get your big screen tv, dvd and washing machine
You get the phone and the lawn and the bed and the mower
You go back where you don't know her
It sounds a little crazy a little scattered and absurd
But that's what you get
When you play a country song backwards
Oh play that song
Woo!!!

Hopefully the you tube link works?

Ok, is that the real video? Or did someone make it? Country is spelled wrong in it!! sorry I am bad at that, I used to have to proof plans, legal descriptions..ughh and I still mess up on spelling myself!

Catchy song though! Had me mesmorized for a while thinking about what I would get back...NOOOOOOO...don't want to go there.

Love Rascal Flatts. This past album wasn't my favorite though.

My top 5 RF songs....

Pieces
Yes I Do
Oklahoma-Texas Line
Stand
Here's To You

I found one of those "it sings when you open it" cards at WalMart that plays Here's To You! = )

My personal take on RF... they're all super talented, but Jay DeMarcus is the musical genius. The big brains behind the operation but the one shown least on camera. i don't know much about RF, but that's just the feeling i get. jay is the most impressive of the bunch in concert.

I just noticed on the stagecoach web site that there are new photos. The one with Gary from Rascal Flats has my whole family on it! My daughters and my son and brother! My 13 year old is next to me with her hand up in the air while Gary is singing to us! She was so excited to see that photo! LOL I put it up on our Myspace! That was the best thing I ever did with my kids Hand down! And we have traveled allot! Can't wait for next year!
