After reading all these reviews about the awesome big & rich shows in the past few yrs, I finally understand why they were rated so well. THEY ROCKED SUNDAY! They were, in my opinion, the best act of sunday. I'm glad they played the 8th of november as well :)
I think they were also the only big act to play an encore

We did not stay due to Cowboy Troy on stage, so when we got back all the neighors seated told us we missed it, but we saw GEORGE! that was an awesome time, right up front against the fence, yes, I wish i would of seen B&R but Cowboy Troy ruined it, many people did leave, we all chatted about it on the way to the other stage. bumber

Big & Rich's circus act was horrible and they went way over there set time and hogged the stage because I heard on the radio that they were pissed off that Carrie Underwood was after them and they felt they were bigger of artists than she is. Sorry but Carrie Underwood BLEW them out of the water!

i agree, perfect description, they ARE a CIRCUS ACT. Carrie was classy and awesome. How dare them think that!
So, ok, they have a "little man" annouce them and Troy comes out, and what the heck, with all due respect, who could see him, put him UP on stage, not at the edge, we couldnt even see him announce it and we were 12th row!
I think they must owe something to Troy and that little man to allow them to open and entertain...something still on the books???????

I didn't even know who he was... I thought that he possibly came 1 week too late... Funny thing is my sister thought that he was Big... and the little guy was Rich... Only until Big Kenny and John Rich hit the stage did she realize she was wrong... LOL

I skipped out Friday night and returned Sunday.
I knew B&R would be a circus (it is funny to see other people call it a circus 'cause that's what I always say too). I skipped B&R and wend to see Jones. However, walking around a little during the middle of Jones, I did hear B&R recognize all the military in the audience and I thank them for that.

That was my issue to entire weekend. The so called tram to take us back & forth from the tent area. The tram must have gone to the tent area once a day cause we waited 1 hour each time and gave up and either walked or got a ride from the bicycle people who you could not believe they were doing that in the heat so you had to give them a BIG TIP or you felt like a jerk to use them. Spent a lot of money paying to go back & forth each day.

thats why they sang their 8th of November song. To honor all veterans and they asked all veterans to raise their hand while everyone else gave a standing ovation

Alot of the ladies that song applies to find it cathartic and/or empowering. It is a beautiful tribute they wrote for their sisters and all other women who have been assaulted/abused.

I have to admit that I was pretty ticked off about Cowboy Troy. My sister called him Cowboy "BuzzKill" and I had to agree. If I'd known he was going to be on so darn long, I'd have run over to see Jack Ingram. I tried very hard to figure out how on earth anything he did had anything to do with country music, but just couldn't. Many expletives were flying around where I was sitting!

I really good article to give backround on B&R. What they're about, etc. It's from 2004, but it still applies.

I have to admit that i like some of B&R's songs, But i wasn't that excited about seeing them. And i was right. They were awful. It started out o.k. and i appreciated them honoring our servicemen and women and families, but i certainly could have done without the circus act. If they had an extra guitar, why didn't they auction it off, instead of breaking it on stage. They took way too much time playing crap and hogging the stage. They were ridiculous. I wish they had played over at the other venue and they had put Craig Morgan in their place. They sucked!

Kymery, What does no more red cups mean?
Before the concerts I was telling everyone that they need to put their drinks in red cups so security wont bother them, now I had too many drinks in red cups, so dont want to see any for a while. But give me till tomarrow.
