Goldenvoice,

PLEASE split up the VIP section into two. One VIP section with General admission purchase/friend/craig list/e-bay/big boob girls, etc and then another VIP section for VIP seat purchasers. VIP area was so crowded that it made it impossible to go to the bathroom and purchase food or drink and get back to your seats inbetween sets. We also need special entrances and exits to get to our seats in a timely fashion. During Carrie we decided to make a run for it (bathroom and drinks) to see her final songs and not miss any of Tim and they let us out into GA to trample all over those poor folks who staked out claims all day long and then when we tried to reenter to our seats the same way it was all weekend long they said No and we said KI$$ our butts we are going in.

I have a big chest and trust me I couldn't get in to find my daughter to tell her where we were going to meet after the concert... Because if any of you tried to use your cell phones during the music...it was a waste of minutes..
Maybe I wasn't young enough..

Same problem we had last year. I guess they didn't take any of our suggestions from last year to improve this year :(

GREAT idea. I have no problem paying for VIP, but besides our chairs it didnt feel like VIP to me. lines were too long, if you left it was too hard to come back in and too many people with wristbands and no seats in my way. If people pay for VIP they should get VIP privileges without having to fight for them.

Wasn't VIP tickets supposed to come with VIP parking and entrance?? We looked all over and asked and no body knew what we were talking about. The letter did not mention parking exactly but it did say entrance and we never saw it. I had looked foward to having quite a few drinks at the show but never had the chance because it took too long to get there as I was fighting the crowds just to get there. Not as VIP as they indicate - isn't that called false advertisement??

You want VIP for parking, hire a limo. You've already spent thousands for VIP seats, what's a few extra hundred!

That entrance reference in the letter we received threw me too. I know last year the easiest way to enter your VIP seats was through the VIP area and they had a path WITHOUT other people in it so it made it easy and fast to get to our seats. I was assuming that was what the reference was referring to but no. This year we had to access our seats through GA which was IMPOSSIBLE at times.

Actually, you could have used the artist entrance... We were lucky enough for someone to share their Artist parking permits with us and all you needed was a daily or any VIP wristband (just not GA purple one) and your ticket to go through that way..

We hired a limo & they wouldn't let the limo enter Eldorado 1 to drop us off, we had to carry everything to our RV. it was kinda funny.

O.K. Now that is FUNNY. You take a Limo to go camping.

On Ave 50... You had to have the parking permits or have the taxi's drop you off.

I must say that I was very disappointed in how the VIP "traffic" was handled. I was GA last year and decided to upgrade to VIP this year for many reasons. I was shocked at how difficult it was to get in and out of the VIP section, particularly back in. Every day they seemed to have a new way to handle re-entrance and didn't seem to improve at all until Sunday. I spoke with several people who were VIP last year and they told me that this didn't happen last year. I loved being in VIP and will probably do it again next year, but I sure hope they can do a better job of letting us back into the section.

That said, they seemed to have increased the number of bathrooms this year and that was a major improvement!

I agree, once we were at our seats we did not leave to get food or drinks (they lost money on us)due to a hassle to do it, and far away. We were to the right, so VIP tent opposit, and the crowds to go thru to the beer garden not worth it. I thought VIP would be easier, but everyone and their mom had a vip bracelet, once color or another.

I noticed all of the wrist bands -- how did that happen? You can purchase VIP wrist bands separately from VIP tickets? That seems odd. My sister needs to use the restroom "frequently" because of a medical condition, so we were running out during every break between acts. What a hassle! I hope they can leave the extra bathrooms and bring VIP access back to what it was in 2007.

All in all, though -- I had an absolute ball on my "all girls weekend" and hope to make it an annual event!
