yes it happened..somehow lost a camera....canon sd 750..i just want the memory card and the id.. if anyone hears about finding a camera..please send a pm....
That's horrible news. I sure do hope somebody turns it in. Did you contact lost and found?
Just a story of good people and why I like Stagecoach and not just for all the GREAT music. Lady falls down and her purse goes flying. She retrieves everything and gets back up and heads out. She didn't see that she missed her cell phone. Guy picks it and runs with it to get it back to her and she was well into the crowd. GREAT CONCERT, GREAT MUSIC, GREAT FESTIVAL and even BETTER PEOPLE.

I would like to thank whoever turned my olympus camera in to lost and found. I had pictures of my cousins brand new twins and would have been so sad to have lost them. I couldn't believe that it had been turned in. Thank-you so much!

good news.. just got a call from a gal who found my camera!! she tried to locate us in the ED2 camp area based on the the group photos...but realized there was no way.. I had Robert's id in the case, she tracked him down and called him tonight. She will be driving from Indio to meet me. Amazing honesty.

A tip that I've learned and use a lot with my kid's camera (and my own stuff, including cell phones)...
If you have a label maker, make a label with your contact info (cell #, e-mail, home #, whatever) and put on the back/side/battery.
You can get a lot of info on a small label and it has saved us quite a few times when cameras/phones have gotten misplaced at SeaWorld, Legoland, etc.

Another thing you can do it take a picture of a sheet of paper with your contact info clearly printed on it. Then if the person looks at the pictures on your camera they will see that. You can even include information about a reward if it's valuable enough for you.

This is a great idea! I have heard of people doing that. Thank you.

Thank you for the great suggestion. I will do it for sure this year, since I was the one who lost a camera in 08.. another casuality of being a SC virgin..!
