As I was afraid, when we went to our seats on Saturday early afternoon we were advised that Gold Circle seating had been changed. We were told that Gold Circle seating was reconfigured for the Eagles. We were moved to reserved. We still had the other benefits. Bathrooms and bar area. Unfortunately we didn't come here for the bar or the bathrooms. We came to watch the damn show.
We made the best of it, but BS in a big way.
Anyone else with the same problem?

There had to be 4 rows of Gold Circle (7,8,9,10) who had the same problem. The stage Sat night was moved out - and only rows 1 - 6 remained. I wondered what happened to all those people. They did have a standing "pit" area with the new stage set up - but don't know who got to be there.
I would not have been very happy if I were moved to a "side".
Where did the seat you?

Trust me even the photographers were moved all over to shoot also.
I must say golden voice had to have there hands full.
I know they were very nice in trying to accommodate everyone.
It was alot to put on ....
Yet I'm sure all the troubles will be getting less and less each learning experince...
These big events will never be perfect..
Also they have to adjust so much for the request of each artist..
You really get to see who the tough kirkey artist are.
I give my hat off to golden voice having to deal with all of them and trying to keep everyone and artist happy...
It will never be perfect.:)
Sorry to hear about your seats...:(

Oh man that sucks!!! I hope the person I sold my Gold Circle tickets to wasn't moved. The tickets were in row 2 and row 5. That is BS since you paid to be seated in the first 10 rows and you weren't. I'm sorry.
How was the rest of the Gold Circle benefits? Did you have to pay for food and alcohol?

Bathrooms were nice, clean and had AC.
Bar area was nice.
Access was almost impossible.
Dinner at 5pm was free, and worth what it cost. I didn't eat it. Small variety of wrapped sandwiches. Wife had one, it was okay.
Drinks were $1 less than the other bars.
Staff was very nice. No problems with these folks.
We spoke today with some Golden Voice staff. So far we got a we're sorry and nothing else. I'm just not up for being an A hole at the event. I came here to have fun and that's what we're going to have.
I don't want more than I paid for, just what I paid for.
We sat stage left. We had a gob of Hoochie girls, seat swappers and misc. tramps with enough ass and few enough morals to get access. They were the ones taking our seats when we went to the bathroom or the bar and were indignant when asked to move.

Same here. I paid $800 for front row ILAA GoldCircle (Section 1) seat and was a bit ticked off myself that a lot of people managed to successfully scam their way to the stage cigarette in one hand and drink in the other. ILAA party was a waste of time and money too. We also had access to the stage-side VIP party but I was too afraid to leave my seat for fear I would have to fight to get it back.
The photogs were worse than the scammers but I blame that on GoldenVoice who didn't boot them out after the first three songs. Some stayed the entire set for every artist except the Eagles. The Eagles publicist took care of business, though, and threw them out or made them sit down. There were also people in the press pit who had disposable cameras and were obviously not Press.. I guess they let anyone sign up who could read and write. No credentials required. But what really chapped my hide was during John Fogerty and throughout the Eagles set they escorted groups of people from Gawd knows where into the Press pit and let them sit there for 3 or 4 songs. Family,friends-who were these people.
Next year-wait there will be no next year for this fan. The whole thing was a disaster Friday night and both ILAA and GoldenVoice dropped the ball. I'll spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.

sounds like you came for only the eagles, not the 3 day festival experience, so you really missed out.

wow sounds like ya had a miserable time...
Gotta say something about those photographers yes ,,,,,A few were chapping my hide too.
Like little kids bragging they would shoot the whole time instead of leaving as each artist requested...
I must say it was hard to see the disrespect for artist and the golden-voice people in charge.
There were alot of security guys letting crazy girls in...
Most of the security was really great but hey they can't keep them all straight and perfect....
I'm with you on most of that observation .
But to let you know it was not any of the true professionals photographers I met and admired in the photographer pit we were complaing just like you...
Many were just doing a job and then leaving to enjoy the concert in are seats...
Life can be so frustrating...
I hope you don't let it ruin the true experience of having all the artist together good and bad...
Maybe you will rethink it...
I'm so sad to hear what you experinced...:(
Life is to short...:)

I felt sorry for you BIG TIME. If I paid 795.00 for front a row seat for one day then NOBODY better be in front of me and the artist PERIOD. They let so many people in that should not have been there in front of you. They at least figured that out and on Saturday and Sunday you could only access the area that your seat was in. Everyday it was a different learning curve.

We lost out on our Gold tickets as well, but we were told it was Rascal Flats fault. The promoters need to get their story straight. We won't be going next year either.

By the way, any Gold ticket holder that got screwed on their seats should not let the issue fall by the wayside. We need to be compensated. They sold us one thing and then gave us another.

It’s really easy to get caught up in the whole, “I’m Gold Circle” thing. We did have a good time and no one had enough control over us to make it bad. It was up to us to go with the flow and make the best of it. I did expect problems. Only because with an event of this size and the artist requests something is always going to happen. I didn’t like that one of the Gold Circle reps. We dealt with (I don’t want to post the name) inside the venue (and we went in early to talk with them - 12:30) wanted to piece meal the resolution and told us not to tell anyone else what they were doing for us. That was unseemly. But just my opinion.
Here is what they did for us.
At about 4:30pm on Sunday they gave us wrist bands for free Heineken. Not my beer but I had 3 for free and the wife had 4 for free.
At about 6:30pm I was in Eldorado 1 camping (wind was bad and had to pull in the awning) and met up with Leo. He was outstanding. A reporter from channel 11 was in front of our trailer doing an interview. Leo came over and spoke with me. He gave us 2 all access passes. I hustled back to our seats where the wife was and we went back stage.
For us this was a lot of money and a trip of a life time. We had a blast even with the problems.
I would say that our best time was last year (GA all the way). Probably because it was our first and ya know your first is always the best.

We had it better than most, because we paid 8xs more than most! Good that they started cracking down on interlopers and hopefully the photogs but forget about GoldenVoice offering anything more than maybe an apology.

We had seats at the event, stage right & i'm sure the ppl behind us were upset cus we stood up & danced the whole time, we owned the row since we had 16 seats in the row.. but ya know what.. i felt bad but we didn't come 2 this concert to sit and nap during our favorite performers.
Most of the staff and 18 yr old little boy security were rude. but o'well~
