Just wanted to post a thread in case anyone from Stagecoach or Goldvoice was reading. When presale tickets went on sell to those who had helped make the 1st year such a success, We were on our way to see Garth. So, my sister logged on right when they started to sell and purchased our tickets; section 9 & 10. I thought presale seats should have be been better. So I went online when they went onsale to the general public and guess what?! They were for section 4 row 8! The seats for the general public were better, so we purchased the new seats. When we tried to sell the extra tickets at face value, Stagecoach released single day tickets only to be upstaged by the fact that the Eagles, who had reserved the first 20 rows, didn't sell all their tickets. So the extra seats for all 3 days were on Ticketmaster. If that wasn't enough salt in my wounds, tons of people that were selling general admission tickets had VIP bands with them. Does that really make it VIP? Don't get me wrong, I can't wait untill this years festival. But, I've learned my lesson, so next year I'll wait untill the real deals show up on eBay.

Ann-Marie,

I know how u feel. We were on 5 different laptops during pre-sale trying to get Gold Circle failed. We did finally get some seats in Sec 2, and sec 3. We upgraded to the 3rd day the moment it was available, and ended up with sec 8 for Friday. Then I read on a thread here that the Eagles ended up releasing some of the seats they insisted on having for their fan club. So those of us who upgraded should of been given our same seats.

I know Cooter is gunna tell me to let it go already. But I'm glad I am not the only one feeling this way.

just because it's presale does not mean better seats are available, it's actually rarely the case these days. they know scalpers will be in on those so no way they release the good ones.

it's still not open to everyone, so yes it is still really vip.

you can try the presale, but if they don't come up then may want to wait for the reg. onsale. that doesn't guarantee you gc, though. the amount of people trying to get gold circle far, far, far outweighs the amount of seats actually available.

10 rows with 40 seats per row = 400 seats
max 2 seats per order = 200 orders

so only approx. 200 people out of 10's of thousands get those.

I get the percentages and limits and all that. I just need to figure out how all these ticket brokers are able to get so many of the Gold Circle tickets.

I wish I knew the answer to that question.

Ann-Marie,
I learned the hard way too. I jumped on presale rigth at the second they went on sale and the closest I got in VIP was section 10. Now I see all these vip fpr sale so next year, I am for sure waiting. Either way look at hte bright side.....WE ARE GOING TO HAVE SOOOO MUCH F. FUN!
