I have VIP wristbands for each day, but GA seats, so I'm not sure what the VIP access consists of. Is it for courtesy tents or free food & drink?

you get into the vip area next to the mane stage. there is no free food/drink.

Last year: VIP area has shade, couches, food, bar, bathrooms (kinda outhouses but a little nicer)

I have the VIP wristbands...wish they included the free drinks like last year - but I heard the restroms were in better shape than GA...and they had more/better shade...so all a plus in my book....LOL

Free drinks and food was for Gold Circle only last year.

Nothing free for anybody this year.

Can you tell me how you got VIP wristbands with GA tickets? I've got GA tickets but after being at Coachella last weekend, I really, really want wristbands. Really. Is there some kind of upgrade option or do you have to know someone? Any help will be appreciated ... the VIP areas have misters, more choices than just beer and wine, better food (by far!) and, of course, the nicer bathrooms. The porta-potties were not suitable for humans by Friday night ... ugh!

People are selling them.. You just have to check craigslist...

Good to hear they will have the misters in VIP area, it saved me last year.

Misters and the awesome "Powder Room Tent" for all those little touch ups we girls need! Ten different kinds of deodorant (I swear!) and hair and makeup girls standing there ready to help you look great (for a suggested donation, of course.)

Rose, do you know if the wristbands are always attached to reserved seats or if somewhere I can find some VIP wristbands without the seats ... I don't care about sitting out in the sun in a chair (I care about mist, shade and good gin.... not necessarily in that order.) BTW, the screens around the main (now "mane" naturally) at Coachella were GIGANTIC ... and good enough for me.

I'm talking to everyone I know (and checking craigslist, too!) but my husband will KILL me if I re-buy the tickets and then we have to try to unload the GAs before we go so just buying wristbands from someone would be my absolute ideal!

Can't wait to see everyone in a few days!

p.s. Saw Dwight Yoakam at coachella, too ... everyone was standing stock still and looking at him like, "who are you?" and I was standing in front of the stage dancing and singing my head off!
