Ok, I understand why this is needed; however, I need to vent about it anyway. The weather during the day is very warm, in the mid to high 90's. I see the average low is in the 60's. So, our manner of dress might change from day to evening. I think it really is asking too much for people to stay from 11:00 a.m. to midnight without being able to change into more comfortable clothes for the evening. I will proabably be OK, but I know I would love nothing better than to be able to shower and put on other clothes for the evening performances. Will we be allowed to go to our cars to pick up jackets or change for the evening shows? I really think this needs to be thought through a little bit more, espeically for those of us who have medication to take that must be refrigerated -- special dietary needs, etc. Not being able to leave can create some real problems.
Also, has anyone checked the ticket broker sites? There are many tickets available for purchase to this festival -- at 3 and 4 times the face value. That is not right. You really need to follow how the folks in Nashville run the Country Music Festival -- you will not find any tickets available on the broker sites.
OK, I'm done. How does anyone else feel about this?

It's not that simple. There's good reason for no ins and outs. They have onsite medical facilities where you can keep your medicine if it needs to be refrigerated, and it's not much effort to carry a jacket for a few hours.

Please do not get me wrong -- I understand that it would be difficult for the in and out privileges -- it could really cause a great deal of problems, especially with people drinking and all. I was just sharing some thoughts. I'm glad there is an on-site medical facility -- I didn't even think of that. I will certainly check things out with them. Thanks so much!
I think I was more angry about the ticket brokers securing so many tickets and selling them for such an outrageous price. It really prevents people from attending these shows.

This concert sounded great the Saturdays line up was first class. To bad every thing else is BS. From having to buy both days, 50 $ per person + 50 per RV with no in/outs, no lawn chairs.
Would have loved to be there but to much BS for me.

Thanks for your 2 cents worth of BS. x

I just found out theat the City of Indio police department has OK'd in and out privileges for campers. What about the poor saps that don't have camping privileges? Are we stuck in there from 10 a.m. to midnight? This is blatant discrimination. If campers can have this privilege, so should averyone else:mad:

I'm starting to think I should have paid more attention to the fine print. Us two Olde Pharts don't get along as well as we used to. I can see now we'll have to pick what time to show up and spend the rest of the time at the hotel.
A 13 hour marathon on a beach towel is not my idea of fun.
