hopefully it will be a little cooler next weekend... we are in San Clemente and we are cooking even down here by the beach... summer is here!

Hotter is better for me....is there any shade at the main stage areas?? I love the sun when I am poolside...not so much when Im bakin with no shade to take a break in....gonna dress cool of course, got my very first cowboy hat yesterday !!! YEEE HAWWW!!!

there is shade in the reserved area. Last there was a small tent way back from the stage that provided some shade for general admission, but it was not very big. Just remember to bring your sunscreen and apply it every two hours, if you are not used to the weather here and you don't do, it at the end of the first day you are going to have a severe burn

I got on our local news station websites and they are predicting temps in the high 80's for stagecoach, but be prepared for it to be hotter.

Thanks for the tips.....I just returned from a cruise in the Bahamas..so I have a pretty good base tan heading into Indio...will bring spf 90 for my husband though..he didnt go to Bahamas with me..LOLOL..hey SOMEones gotta stay home and work right??? Hes got a sexy farmers tan goin on...

Usually it is real windy when you are on the 10 frwy, but once you head South on Jefferson, it dies down by the polo grounds..no promises, but usually like that.

that's the only thing that saved us last year on Saturday was the clouds and a slight breeze. Sunday was bad.

On my way down last year I hit a sand storm and could barely see the car in front of me. Very scary.
