Does anyone know for sure that we cannot cook on a grill?

Last year someone brought a huge BBQ, and was cooking away!

I know there's a ton of food there but..... we may need a break from it seeing we'll be there 4 days!

I do have a small propane grill!

Lemme know if you can.

Have fun!

There are a couple posts on this. I put my story on them, yes, they were allowed, last minute on Friday, they announced that you can BBQ.

What rule?? lol As you can see on this post, it was everywhere, no one hid it, just respectful about it, use plastic cups.

YES they can search and apparenly last year someone was told they cant have it, but they have to say that for liability reasons. But rest assured, no one hid it once inside the grounds, everyone was toasting, offering drinks, getting buzzed, it was very open.

The no alcohol rule from the campsite information? I just cut and pasted it... Most have been somebodies idea of a bad joke

No alcohol, glass containers, weapons, drug paraphernalia or drugs allowed
No pets allowed

No ATV's, Golf Carts or motorized recreational vehicles.
Campers are expected to behave in a manner that is courteous to other campers. Noise curfew is at 2:00am.

There will be on-site security at all times as well as first aid stations open 24/7.

Venue is not responsible for any materials misplaced, lost or stolen. It is recommended you don't bring valuable items or if you do, please lock them in your vehicle for safety.

Ins/outs from Festival to Onsite camping is allowed. You must have a camping wristband on.

HAHAHA I was just kiddin, I know about the rule...I was just saying that it is not followed. No worries..I promise. I put my cases of beer under the beds, in the closets, in the gear holder, the front storage etc. I just figured I could drink inside my rig..they wont see me, but once we pulled in we were noticing everyone had plastic red cups or the like, so..I broke open the bottles and started pouring!

What about those of us who wont have an RV? Where do we "hide" our alcohol? So you def suggest bringing plastic cups, regardless of what our drinks come in?

YES..do not walk around the grounds with your MGD/Coors bottles etc.

I posted this before, but get creative...vodka in a water jug, margarita mix in the Cactus Cooler 2 liter, rum in the coke bottle, only prob is the beer..oh well, put it at the bottom of your ice chest with everything else on top.

hmmmmm...hope the security peeps arent reading this...duh:cool:

Whoo hoo!! Last thing I wanted to do was cook inside the motorhome. Looks like Tri Tip on Friday!

I wonder if my propane "firepit" would count as a BBQ... I guess if we're around it cooking marshmallows we'd be OK :)
