I have noticed that there is free parking for campers, I was just wondering if there needed to be a placard or something that you need to have in order to park in the free parking. I am staying in an RV with friends but we are arriving seperately.

Thank you

I need to understand this too. I now have a car logistics problem. I have 2 RV spots, and one tent camping spot. I am driving my motorhome, pulling a small trailer. I intend to drop the trailer in its own RV spot, then park the motorhome.

But, I have 3 cars coming. One can park in the tent camping lot. But the other two, I am not sure of. Because I have 2 RV spots, can I park 2 cars in a free overnight lot? If not, what can I do? Wish I could call someone.

All parking is free, so yes you can park for the weekend.

Kymery is right. Its just that the extra cars without the camping or RV parking lot decals will have to park in the regular non-camping parking lots which will be relatively empty until the festival starts. Besides, once you park them its not like you will need them until you leave, right?:D Its all good!

That is why you should become friends with locals.

You have a trailer now- bring it all with you. Only thing you'll need is some Ice and that is available on site:)

Thanks Broccoli1, I should have clarified, I also have a tent camping spot, so one of the cars will be parked there. And, if I understand this right, my other two cars can be parked in the general parking for 3 days without a problem.

for coachella there is no overnight parking in the main lot, not sure if this will be different for stagecoach.

for onsite campers you can park your cars for free in the tow vehicle lots, just make sure and ask for a camping parking pass when you check in.

Okay so my husband is going in thurs night with his truck and I am arriving Friday with my truck. SO as long as I ask for a camping parking pass I will be okay?

show them your camping wristband, say you need a parking pass for your car. you should be fine. :)
