The Academy of Musical Performance (AMP)

Created by the Coachella Valley Community Trust and funded by a grant from Goldenvoice, this summer program is designed for young musicians seeking a hands-on music experience including those who are interested in stage production, lighting, event management & promotion.  Performers at Stagecoach are from the inaugural program in 2015.  Look for more info. on 2016 here:

A. RAE & THE RESCUE DOGS

Alexa & Avery were born into a musical family. Their dad plays in the Monster’s of Rock, O.C’s classic rock tribute band.  Their mom is the leader of the Kelly Rae Band, So Cal’s premier country band. Inspired by their folks, they formed a band & created a CD to help rescue animals.  50% percent of the proceeds go to local Animal Rescue & Adoption Centers to help abused animals, and help place them in loving homes.

EMI SUNSHINE

Emi is an 11-year old, American country music singer/songwriter from Madisonville, TN who captured the nation’s attention through her viral social media presence. Steeped in Appalachian music, she is a true vocal stylist, who instinctively knows how to interpret the nuances of a song with her impressive range.  With more than 150 tour dates already under her belt, Emi has also performed at The Grand Ole Opry and on the Today show.

RED YARN

Red Yarn Productions is a folk music and puppetry company based in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2011 by performer and teaching artist Andy Furgeson, RYP creates musical puppet shows, educational programs and accessible media for kids and families.  With his energetic performances and lush folk-rock recordings, this red-bearded bard shares positive values while reinvigorating American folklore for younger generations.

Become a bead bandit! Explore treasure chests and vintage luggage filled with rare finds to create your own one-of-a kind jewelry masterpiece. Sparkly crystals, gemstones, antique chains, country charms and a wondrous supply of oddities await you.

TAG-A-KID

TAGAKID2_515x385

Mosey on over to our FREE TAG-A-KID service and we’ll place a wristband on the kids. If you are separated, we can help round ‘em up.

Big crowds can be like a giant round-up to kids — to avoid separating from them, give your kids the same advice you would if you were anywhere else: don’t go off with strangers or anyone without telling you first. If they get lost, have them ask for help from a policeman or any festival staff with a radio to return to Tag-A-Kid.

SUGGESTED KIDS PACKING LIST:

We understand you may not think of EVERYTHING you might need at a big old country music festival.  We put together some handy suggestions for y’all here.

Wet wipes or anti-bacterial hand gels – those darn animals get mighty stinky
